Well based on the mobile version monetization, most serious players would spend well over $200 on this game for secure container, low ping servers, and gear. You can easily spend thousands to get an advantage in this game. Kind of a silly comparison I think. You can spend a lot in either game, or little ($50 Tarkov version)
@@Joe-kl4vu Yup, I wouldn't be letting my kid play and he's into tarkov (He's getting non lazy so maybe he'll snag a job this summer). It's just slightly worse than any other MTX game out there due to losing everything... a great cure for gambling cognitive distortion.
As a 3k hour Tarkov vet, this game has an INSANE amount of potential. The amount of QoL features it has feels so good, many of which Tarkov players have been asking from BSG for literal YEARS. Yes it is not as "hardcore" as Tarkov, if that's what youre looking for, this isnt it in its current state at least, but it is not overly casual and can still be a very tough game. Very excited for this to get completely fleshed out and come to full release. Nothing bad can come from Tarkov getting competitors, it will either make Nikita finally take his head out of his ass or breed new games that actually care about their player base.
You must have spent those 3k hrs Ratting and shooting scavs then becuase this game BLOWS chunks . The concept is nice, it talk the talk but the walk is a clunky chineese mess. obvious mobile port. Nothing was changed *Actual 5.5k hr level 55 THIS wipe . some some EoD normie . im a true blue lee ver. THIS GAME BLOWS its "Tarkov at home "
I have some 3.8k h in tarkov, burned out and I really dont have enough time anymore to play it like I used to. Im am really intrested in this for a bit more casual aproach. Also f Nikita
To me, they took Tarkov and made it better. Giving the player the information they need in game without going to wikis or watching long ass RU-vid videos is a good thing. It doesn’t feel like a job to play this - for us non content creators, that’s a good thing… That being said, I’m not sure they’re offering anything super innovative for those who’ve played a good amount of Tarkov, it’s just a more fun and accessible alternative.
PC testing's solid, but we need more events to keep things interesting. Missing the chaos of 12v12 battles from the mobile version. Devs, give us more!
@@jmgonzales7701 And this is what engine? Because when you look at your character in Tarkov, is really outdated. The clothes are folded over each other and it doesn't look good. They are still unable to fix this after 7 years, omg.
@@tomasjari9412 This game is Unreal Engine. Honestly folded clothes are the least of Tarkov's issues. Arena Breakout Infinite has better net code, better optimization, and more.
@@tomasjari9412 Imagine the amount of gigabytes It'll takes if you make high quality texture in a game as Tarkov that have a lot of details. Even now with old texture the game is already at 50giga and can't run correctly Street if you don't have at least a RTX or a loooot of ram. I give the point to BSG for this one, it's not as simple as just replace textures, they need to find a way to improve graphic quality and keep the game runnable.
@@user-iq6gp8qo8b Have you reached above ACE rank? Play the maps like TV station or Armory Lockdown and tell me you haven't found any player I will even give you The new skin for free
I'm so happy this game and Greyzone are coming out to give Tarkov some competition. I have about 1500 hours in tarkov and it's possibly my favorite game but Nikita seems to be loosing focus on why people love the game and putting his head up his ass further and further every takov update. Hopefully all this competition solves that issue with Tarkov and we start seeing some meaningful updates and improvements.
@@steveharvey441 it is. Unity is a pile of shit. ABI will be 3x the game tarkov is especially when you factor in the infinite budget they have in the form of Tencent
@@rjw19 If you’re looking for a hardcore extraction shooter, which you can sink thousands of hours into, then nothing compares to Tarkov lol. As much as I would like it if there was. Arena Breakout is Tarkov with far fewer features, though it runs better
In 2k hrs in tarkov I've never trusted any players after learning quickly how the game breeds psychopaths🤣 I can't even trust player scavs while scaving any time I drop a pmc I'm running for extract so I don't get tapped for the looottzz
@aphasiagaming You can't just make Tarkov look better. The game's already 50giga with old graphics and it can't run if you don't have at least a good amount of ram and a RTX. As i said before to someone else, it's not as simple as just replace with high quality texture there is too much details in the game even a 3060 will have a bad time running this
I don't and had never had a lot of money, so my cellphone became my best chance of gaming, arena breakout made sure to make me feel like I was playing something AAA, made me feel what I was seeking.
LevelCap, I'm glad to have found my way back to you. The last time I was frequently watching, the BF4 update with the mare's leg and operation outbreak was fresh, and I don't know why your videos stopped popping up for me . Good to see you again, I'll be sticking around now
Man this is exactly the game I would spend hours on if it were on Switch. As a parent of a toddler I don’t have time to commit to a PC or traditional console like I used to. This game screams like a perfect pick up and play when I’m on the toilet or when I find 20 minutes to play before bed. While I don’t love the idea of live service games, I wish there was something I could continuously go back to on switch like a good extraction shooter where I felt like I was progressing. Great video, maybe we will see something on the successor to the Switch!
I appreciate how you always point out where these new games could improve instead of just singing their praises. With so many options its nice to know their shortfalls.
I played for about 10 to 12 hours, and it's nice that this game doesn't kick you in the butt every few minutes. The base QOL features are so much nicer than in Tarkov. They can really build a great game on this foundation.
I actually disagree that they give away money too much. I suck at extraction shooters. I can’t play Tarkov because I get steamrolled every time. With this game I can build a nice gun without the fear of losing it and not being able to financially recover from the purchase. Also my game has never froze or anything like that. The only issue I’ve found is many times I’ve had team mates that don’t speak English and we just wonder around together with no communication.
@fallegapyro you need to spend atleast 200k To remain competitive on that map and its large enough you can get sniped from god knows where . Its basicslly reserve from tarkov
@@1NOTEGBEATZ the thing is, it isn't balanced. The game devs give so much opportunity for campers and lurkers which they don't give to other players (radar camper nest for instance, alarms, etc...) The game would be really challenging with good feel for risk/reward if they make some changes. But for now, it's all about who's a better camper. Especially after they added the new map. I don't hate AB, I play it once every while, I reach good ranks and I have a great stash that enables me to enjoy it, yet I see a huge room for improvement.
Unfortunately when the original devs for BF leave, making EA panic and throw together a rabble of devs from Apex Legends and COD to get 2042 out, then scratch their heads when the community kicked off… I’m not surprised
@@hhaste And why is that? The gameplay is infinitely better in every aspect. If you shoot at somebody at least you know the bullet won't go through him and do no damage. The servers are better, All of the destruction is real-time not scripted, and it's handled on their servers, so you the player will have a smooth experience even though it costs them a shit ton of money, there are unique game modes not the same ones from fucking 10 years ago, and a studio that genuinely cares about you. And the studio? They're ex-Battlefield devs, the same ones who made the old BF games you loved.
As a person who was top 150 on the mobile game I can assure you that the money that you get will never be enough. When’s there is more real players in the lobbies, I promise you that your gonna lose almost all that money you thought was a lot.
Another great thing about Arena Breakout is that while it's got some Arcadey elements to help it play a bit better, at least your Armory and money never resets. Which is actually great because it allows more casual players to slowly work their way up to higher teir gameplay instead of cutting off their work suddenly.
Farm and Valley it's for beginner map or passive player like me, but northridge, Armory, and TV station it's more chaos bro especially TV station(chaos of Bot) and Armory(chaos cause of player)
I'm not sure how i feel about the absolute lack of inertia, but other than that it to me feels like Tarkov minus the annoying stuff. Like a game you can actually play without a wiki, map and a youtube video on your second monitor.
3:29 that scav is a player or imposter. Ai bots do not carry 2 guns like he is doing and they dont rush so boldly excluding bosses and their squad squad who will rush you and use any method to tear you to shreds.
This seems to be the Tarkov-like game I’ve been looking for. Easier to get into but tough enough to keep you on your toes for the long run. Looking for its release today!
I enjoy the game so much because it's way more accessible than tarkov I can literally queue up with my kids and play and they would be able to get it. I enjoy the daily log in rewards tarkov would be cool if they did that honestly
Shouting into the void here but "This was the first video YT complained about my ad block... YT "F off" I will continue to use ad block and even stop using YT before I turn off ad block."
This doesn't do enough to differentiate from Tarkov, as such I'd rather play Tarkov. GZW on the other hand innovate enough to the point I'd rather play it instead. That is when it'll be in a playable state, which it isn't at the moment.
When it comes to the mobile version, it's a top tier game when it comes to gameplay, graphics and optimisation, I hope they don't mess up the PC build, awesome stuff
they are not giving money freely ,its just that avg. player dies a lot and loose all gear😀. and main point is that it is free to play. maybe they could do cross device support like warzone mobile
A Real tough Enemy for BSG, Arena Breakout Infinite is made by Level infinite which Tencent owns, and tencent owns Riot which is a big company, Btw tencent owns CODM too💀
There's also Lost Light by NetEase, though that one definitely feels more arcade and like a mobile port, but is still okay to spend some time in, since you can get it for free right now as its already out. Though personally I like the slightly more serious vibe of something like this, except nowadays I mostly just play co-op games, so Incursion Red River is more for me.
I have accumulated something like 150 hours on the mobile version, and it's good, really good. It's well built, graphics are great, realism is okay, weapon modification is great, everything feels like a great Tarkov alternative
Most of the "p2w" in this game can be obtained from events for free. Like free kits, limited elite passes, limited bulletproof cases, bonds, and skins(from Rank store). Some stuff requires real money, like battlepass, monthly 2x3 bulletproof cases and monthly elite pass. Free Bonds and free loadout kits are limited so you can only get them once from every events, so you'll have to wait for another event to get them again. There are also alternatives to get a free elite pass and bulletproof case(1x2) and they can be obtained from Rank Store and Level Infinite Pass store.
For the “empty games” The mobile chinese version actually has more squad spawns in a lobby and there’s small maps that have you fighting in seconds for the whole game (TV Station, Port)
This is absolutely better than Tarkov even if Tark wasn't imploding. More items and quests do not make abetter game. Framerate, clean gunfights, few cheaters, no bitcoin farm (which defeated the purpose of playing), in-game maps so your friends actually want to play, etc. It is a less tedious, yet sometimes actually more hardcore version of Tarkov. Every single map has multiple difficulties so anyone can play on whatever risk level they feel comfortable with. I could debate about half of the criticisms LevelCap had in the video, but no one wants all that in a random comment. I also think he'd change his mind on a few things if he had just played a little bit more (like how quests definitely stop giving out that much money pretty quickly) Oh yeah, and it actually makes sense to team up with friends in this game, unlike Tark where almost everyone runs solo.
It's still a port. "Port" doesn't mean included with, integrated with, or cross play compatible. A port simply means "developed from one platform to work on another, different platform (without a complete rebuilding of the game code from the ground up). Recently, Ark released a new version that the devs claimed was "built from the ground up" but actually still has all the same bugs and jank from the previous version, so it wasn't built from the ground up. While not being a port, the point is that rebuilding from the ground up is a lot of unnecessary work if the port can be decently optimized for the ported platform by using the code that's already been written and game features and mechanics that have already been designed. The pc version of Arena Breakout isn't built from the ground up. It's a port of the mobile version to be compatible with and take advantage of PC hardware. A port can be (historically has been) an independent game from the version it was ported from. Typically a game was either console or pc first and then ported to the other platform without the two versions being compatible, allowing "cross play", or otherwise interacting with each other. You simply don't throw out the bath water if you're just needing to put in a new baby (to borrow from the addage). Also, mentioning that the pc version is in UE4 as a proof that it's not a port is odd because the mobile version is also in UE 4 (UE4.26 to be exact).
Beta is extra giving with loot and rewards. In my experience on mobile the normal release had much lower rewards and you'd be surprised how many people suffer and run covert ops haha
It doesnt feel like a cash grab... Yet, just you wait when the monetization kicks in at actual release and you can buy currency with actual money through microtransactions.
I think it's important to note at 7:00 that this is a beta. Unless you've played the mobile version, it's unfair to claim the costs. Most games have a multiplier for grindy bits in closed access games. One of those being FINALS. It's normal to 10x income so people can test everything freely before they limit everyone on release. I really hope they make the money hard to come by.
I disagree with the thought that an extraction shooter should be barely surving and having scarce supplies. I mean that's what survival games are. I like what ABI is doing so far.
Regarding the several "not a port" comments, I think younger gamers don't know what a port is. AB for PC is still a port. "Port" doesn't mean included with, integrated with, or cross play compatible. A port simply means "developed from one platform to work on another, different platform (without a complete rebuilding of the game code from the ground up)." Recently, Ark released a new version that the devs claimed was "built from the ground up" but actually still has all the same bugs and jank from the previous version. So, it wasn't built from the ground up. Typically a game was either console or pc first (or IBM to Commodore or vice versa, if you're an OG PC gamer) and then ported to the other platform without the two versions being compatible, allowing "cross play", or otherwise interacting with each other. You simply don't throw out the bath water if you're just needing to put in a new baby (to borrow from the addage). Also, mentioning that the pc version is in UE4 as a proof that it's not a port is odd because the mobile version is also in UE 4 (UE4.26 to be exact).
Correction t It's not "developed from one platform but work on other platform" but more to "developed FOR one platform but will also work on other platform."
I'm not going to lie i played this when it first came out on mobile, and it wasn't actually the worst experience I've had. Even the pvp was good. Hopefully, it get better over the years to come
This is nice for someone without hours and hours of time to learn and play tarkov. The lower risk is more appealing to someone who only has a small amount of time to play. I'm excited to play a version of extraction shooter that allows me to feel engaged and not overwhelmed with little hours available to play.
Tencent made an Emulator back in the day now it's called Game Loop and it's the best emulator to ever exist till now, it gives the best fps and supports the most popular games!
Calling this plagersim is like the Beatles being mad at every band ever for ripping them off. You made a game in a style. There will be other games like it unless it's completely unsuccessful
I seen a clip where this game literally has the same house models. Idk if I’d go as far as plagiarism but there are a TON of elements that were copied from EFT. Regardless. I’m still going to play the shit out of this and I will pick on campers and Timmy’s
This looks so much like tarkov that for the past 2 weeks i thought it was a mode in tarkov arena, only today actually looking it up have i realised its a completely different game
The optimization of the game on mobile is really impressive (considering how good the game looks) i expect the same with AB infinite (oh boy that middle finger to the team of tarkov and them being b*tt hurts is pure gold)
This game stands on its own, i have said since the mobile came out, if they build a version for pc it will blow up. On mobile this is absolutely the best game, becuase it doesn't play or feel like a mobile game. And since this is not a port and a seprate build for pc this is a pc game
THE BIGGEST advantage is the option to join lobbys with better loot if you being atleast 30k/80k of gear. So you are also guaranteed to meet chads. Essentially what labs should habe been. Which makes the point at 8:09 totally invalid at makes it so much more addicting to finally be able to run 80k+ runs again 🙏😍
I just wanna clarify that the ppl you were fighting at 3:30 are not Bots but Player Scabs hence they some of them Flanked you and the other you killed Earlier had 2 Guns. Scavs don't Jump and Carry 2 Weapons aside from some Bosses.
Watching landmark stream this game a lot, kits are way more expensive than depicted. With him paying over 100k koen for a kitted m4 and good armor costing around 70k.
Is because this game is in CLOSED BETA which only a few people playing it. I played this game for more tha a year on mobile, even during their closed beta too. I can assure you, those prices will go down, like a whole lot cheaper. Especially during events.
You don't need unheard edition to have a fighting chance. I have standard and it's fine. At the moment tarkov is easily the best extraction shooter. A free to play game is gonna be way more P2W anyways.
I feel like if you don’t die a lot and are smart with what you buy you won’t have a problem with money. It is when you buy a new kit and 200 round of SP ammo you might be out a few 100k.
It's weird what he says at 5:08 for me because I play the mobile version and in the mobile version there's players everywhere on valley and I always gotta watch my back
I hope there will be a toggle option to play mainly just PvE with a friend on co-op, for those times when we just don't feel like having PvP sessions. I've tried Gray Zone Warfare & have enjoyed it so far, yet there are many players ratting the landing zones so often.
Do take note that this game will probably be a 1st to a lot of people much like fortnite, League of legends and games "Alike" so the phrase money is not an issue comes from someone with alot of expirience in FPS and extration looters. yesterday was playing with a mate that came from only playing COD and he was mesmerised with everything i was like yeah dud like "Tarkov"/"Lost Light"/"Cycle" and that made me realize how really unknow extraction looters FPS really are
