Lean beef in the USA and England are often just called "roasts" because the most common method of cooking them (to keep them tender) is to slowly roast them in an oven in a lower temperature, sometimes for hours depending on how large the cut of meat is. But the idea of cutting it up for a stir fry is not something I"ve tried. I'll definitely give it a try for that first recipe for sure!
Yea, please try the thinly sliced one. Hope you will like it! Thank you for telling me about "roasts"! I thought the word "roast" was something you put on the name of the way it is cooked or the name of the dish, but do you call raw meat "roast" as a type of meat?
The one thing I miss of Japan is the thin-sliced meats. Here I stay, in USA, there is almost none unless in the oriental supermarkets. I have to cut meats half-frozen by myself.
I live in New Zealand, so getting that NZ Beef is no problem 🙂 Going to try making this for dinner tomorrow night. Thanks again for your awesome videos and instructions.
Thank you so much!! Oh! You live in New Zealand. My local supermarket used to carry only domestic beef, but I am glad that they have recently started carrying New Zealand beef. I am planning to buy it again. Hope you will enjoy these bowls at home 😊
Everyone could not dislike and actually very necessary to eat these after growing too. According to teacher knows, I've been always likedstir-fried seasoned beef. ❤Thanks for teaching and more. If there are warm soup and side dish like gimchi **It could'n be better** ☕️🍰
The garlic sprouts can make the meal bitter, also. I always take them out of my garlic. These both sound great! I love onions, so that is a big plus for these recipes. And the low fat is another wonderful thing. Thanks for sharing these recipes.
Oh! You are doing the same thing. I'm glad 😊 And I'm really happy you liked the recipes. Thank you so much for always watching my video and your warm comment. Have a good week and take care!
Thank you for watching my video! Oh, that's very nice. I really need that kind of garlic. The precut minced version is not common in Japan... or maybe I need to look for more carefully. Thanks for your comment!
Gyudon bowl looks so delicious! I'd love to make it, but where I live beef is quite expensive and it's also hard to get a good one. I feel so envious that you can get thinly sliced beef ready to be cooked.
Thank you! Yes, it seems that the type of meat sold in each country is so different... In Japan, thin slices of meat are the norm when it comes to pork and beef.
@@JapaneseCookingChannel When it comes to food and its variety Japan is on the top. ❤️ Even snacks like KitKats have so many flavors while in Poland it's just a choice between regular and white chocolate on the outside.
