3 lbs of Chuck Roast cut into two-inch pieces
4 large carrots
1 jumbo yellow or sweet onion
6 to 7 garlic cloves
1 1/2 lb of potatoes
2 bay leafs
2 Tbs Balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper
1 tsp of thyme
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup of flour
6 cups of beef broth
2 to 3 Tbs of olive oil
Optional veggies are peas and celery.
1. Cook beef for two hours in the oven
