I love the tender mercy Dr. Sproul has communicated so well. Tender mercy from the Lord Thy God. Truly repentant as David was and how he asked God for Tender Mercy. To blot out the guilt of the sin. So rich, so beautiful, so tender. Amen

I was thinking of Dr. Sproul when I read about David & Abigail in 1 Sam 25 - David thanks God for preventing him from committing indiscriminate revenge - he could be merciful to others only as a result of God’s mercy to him
