TENNESSEE - GeoGuessr Speedrun in All 50 States | Episode 42 

I love Tennessee's geography. The Oak Ridge/Knoxville area is so solid to explore. CG I wanted to thank you for motivating me to also try this 25K States Challenge. I've had a ton of fun with it so far and I'm really looking forward to see where you go once the US is done... European Subdivisions? :)

I've spent a lot of time in Memphis and a bit in Nashville. In the 90's my band recorded a couple of albums in Memphis and, even though we were from St. Paul, MN, our shows down there always went over really well. I nearly moved there in '98 or so.

Went to Nashville for the first time a couple of weeks ago, it was a ton of fun but mannnn is it expensive, especially anything on Broadway

I lived part time in the Kingsport area for a few months about 30 years ago.

I was in Oak Ridge at the beginning this month for work. Very pretty town, although coming from the northeast I’m not very used to the lack of options for food… Hoping to go back soon to visit the smoky mountains

Love Tennessee! I’ve spent one night in Memphis and I’ve made many trips to Gatlinburg and the Smokies. Never been to Nashville though so I have to make it there someday!

I retired from the Army in Tennessee. I've lived here since '97. It is beautiful and has a great deal of variety from the plains to the mountains and lots of rivers.

I went to Tennessee for the first time this past summer! My girlfriend and I drove over to Nashville from our college in VA. It is a really pretty state and Nashville was such a cool and lively city. I want to check out the smoky mountains area next!

I have not been to Tennessee but for some reason I am also drawn to the state. The eastern third of the state seems really scenic and beautiful especially in the Smoky Mountains NP area.

Finally my state! I live in East Tennessee and its a shame you didnt get more of eastern Middle Tennessee, absolutely beautiful area

Born and raised in Memphis, but I haven't seen much of the eastern part of the state. I'd love to go out to the Smoky Mountains one day. Also the 3rd round on game 1 is literally like 2 minutes from my house.

Lived in Memphis for almost three years; been all over. The "Poplar Pike" round was about a quarter mile from my old apartment, which was fun. The three "grand divisions" of the state are interesting political/social/historical geography Lots to do in Tennessee; I do recommend avoiding the cringe tourist stuff, of course; for whatever reason the cringe tourist traps seemed extra cringe in TN than the other places I've lived

Bordering home state, live about an hour from the border and used to cross into Tennessee regularly, particularly the North Central part of the state in the Lafayette area where my ancestors lived. The Roller Coaster yard sale goes through the small town of Celina in Clay County that I've also stopped at the big yard sale sites in that town and that's where I got my Tabasco Fiasco diecast. Also been to Nashville (been to the zoo, went on a high school trip to the Hermitage, and look to potentially be returning to the area in a couple weeks for an exciting opportunity), Chattanooga (went to the Chattanooga Aquarium in downtown and also to the Chattanooga Choo Choo to see Thomas the Tank Engine), and stopped in Bristol to see the track just days after they had had a World Rally car race. Never been west of Nashville though, Memphis is one of the only large metro areas within a half day's drive that I've never been to.
