Finally next qb I’m actually excited to watch ..after Trevor Lawrence …we only get qbs like this every few years ….and you can tell Nico is one of THEM
Nico is supposed to still be in high school, but was able to enroll early. He’s amazingly mature for a high school kid! He’s gonna be special. I hope Joe Milton keeps control & has the chance he’s waited for, but there’s a chance Nico could take it if Joe starts overthrowing a lot of balls. Either way Nico is gonna be one of those special players! But I’m really pulling for Joe because he stayed with us when Hendon took the job from him & was a team player. He deserves something good!
This kid is unreal. I've seen him play twice against my nephews team and he's everything that's advertised and then some. He already has a pro style arm. Kinda reminds me of Trevor Lawrence physically. Barring any major injuries, wouldnt be surprised if he goes in the 1st round in 3 years.
He may have a pro style arm but can HE PERFORM when the LIGHTS are bright in front of 20,000 fans. Can he lead a comeback ect… thats what matters at the end of the day and Stop it with the Trevor comparisons please. Trevor was a certified winner and job taker, undefeated throughout his starting career in high school.. took the starters job his first year of varsity and the same for D1 and NFL… not like Trevor son
Good job Matt. Finally giving the Vols some credit , on the rise yes we are finally . Joe improved alot this year on his accuracy and I think will shock some people coming season . Just like Hooker he's been coached up . I don't say this about freshman QBs but I think Nico could do it..Peyton could not do it his freshman year , but he was awkward and still growing . Nico looks developed way more than most freshman QBs . The future is bright . Go Vols and thanks Matt for video about them .
This Tennessee quarterback is gonna be amazing, I do believe he gets 2 Heisman Trophies before he heads to the NFL, we haven't seen a kid like this in a long time!!!
I don't know about all that but I do think he will give this Tennessee team a chance to play for the National championship. Boy Georgia and Bama and Florida fans are gonna hate this guy. I can see Nico beating all 3 of them in the same year.
Nico also played volleyball so to me the motion he has throwing the football looks like when he was spiking the ball lol.. really pay attention if you know anything about v-ball that ish isn't easy on your swing arm and if he was able to stay healthy (no arm issues) that =cannon all throws made!
A couple things, Its E-ya-ma-lay-ya-va. Also you got it backwards, Joe is best in accuracy and tends to overthrow the long ball. Thanks for the content bro! I think its cool that a Bammer is putting out good UT content without trolling. Appreciate it
I hope Nico can handle the spot light! I think hitting the weights should be a top priority for him as he's a the scrawny side. God bless his path as I hope to see him play on Sundays!
I love Joe Milton and he has a great arm! Problem is that velocity! He throws so hard and fast college receivers can’t handle the heat! If Milton can relax a little bit and put some touch on it he could be the next Tee Martin!!! GBO
Hey Matt you should check out Roland Martin and look what’s unfolding there at BCU it’s crazy.. it shows how crooked the school was and how bad they treated Edd Reed and the football players.. they also did a interview on how bad the conditions there are
This is exactly what I've been talking about. Supposed Vol fans that don't even know that Hendon Hooker is no longer eligible to play , hurt or not hurt ,he's declared for the NFL draft . The only scholarship QBs we have are Joe and Nico , we need a third one , buts it's going to be hard.
@@Teddyblues10 Thanks for the reply to my comment and you understood the situation of the Vols better than I do. Yes, you're correct. The Vols either struggle or be really good next season. For Hooker, Ironically, I moved to Greensboro, NC for work related stuff. Which is where this talented young man is from. Due to his injury I see him getting selected early in the second round or the third round. Not impacting the NFL much at all to be honest until he recovers and given the chance to show if he can prove it at a higher level. Beating Alabama as a QB definitely holds value even while injured.
@@nonayabusiness6170 they will be good next season and Joe Milton will skyrocket and shock some people . On sports media they are already saying he's a dark horse for the Heisman .
Matt since the College football season is over,Can you please bring back the High school basketball vids back? Don’t get me wrong I love every video you put out but there has been a lot of High school basketball news Mikey Williams was just snubbed from the All American team,I would love to see your take on the situation keep up the good work God bless.
Josh was a scrapper in Oklahoma But he did the job and he beat Florida state for a national title He's obviously a good quarterback In mind do well from the Tennessee
I’m all Vol but you are exactly right about big Joe……after years in college football, has he finally got those short routes locked down? Even in the spring game THIS year those marker routes and slants were dropped all over the field coming in like a major league fastball. You would think that would be the easiest fix at the position but I’m wrong evidently. Hope the best for Joe and I am excited to see what Nico can do because he looks great.
If your from Cali, you know warren has never been a a great football school and nico made them a tough over achieving team, some kids play with a ton of talent around them he didn’t have that luxury, when he gets to play with that sec talent he is going to impress for sure
Matt, I've just seen the Tenn. spring game as a Texas fan my opinion Nico is head-shoulders over the way to hype our QB Arch. Matt lookout for Malik Murphy. HookEm !!!
I think Milton will start at the first of the year and as a vol fan, hope he starts all year. That will mean he is playing great. I doubt it though. He misses too many times. Looked great at the Orange Bowl though. Maybe he has it in him. Looking forward to next year!
You are correct. Deion was a no fit as far as Auburn culture. I'd go so far as to say he isn't the right fit for most SEC teams. Sure, Deion is a flashy hire, and he's done some incredible work filling out Colorado's roster. Hugh Freeze took Auburn's recruiting last year from 60 something to I believe it was 16, and did it in 3 weeks. In the portal, Auburn has taken 8 4 stars, more than any other team, and landed Auburn at number 4 in the portal rankings. Auburn and Florida State both beat Deion Sanders and Lincoln Riley. So I couldn't care less how many 5 stars any team has pulled. I give them all the credit. I'm only concerned with Auburn, and so far, Hugh Freeze has done exactly what everyone thought he would. Obviously, the final and most important measure is when things move to the field. On that which anyone can measure him on so far, Hugh Freeze has far exceeded expectation.
Well on that throw, he never kept his eye off that receiver, which is not what you want in a QB. He didn’t look off, QBs, should have head movement to look off dabs in college and the NFL.
I don’t think auburn is upset they didn’t get coach prime because they don’t want to be like Texas a&m. Sec is the Sec and it was better for prime time to go to Colorado since it’s in the pac 12, if he went to the sec I think it would take him some time to prove himself even with all the recruits.
Great content. Especially if it's about my Tennessee Vols. Just wondering if you need some help writing an exit for your posts? Sounds like you're stroking out💀
The zip Nico puts on the ball IS impressive. He is a very good QB. But your example of him throwing into quad coverage is not entirely accurate. Those boys are at least five to fifteen yards away from the receiver.
@@t_ylr facts lol but damn bro he just got to Colorado which is hella far from GA yet he still managed to get 4 guys. Bulldogs better keep their head on swivel 😂
NFL QB's are investments in which entire offense are built around. I'm not sure what one would look like if it were to be built around Stetson. Height is an issue. It is even for Brock Purdy and he's three inches taller than SB at 6'1. Dead last drafted. Too many people of sports media, hype up QB's on good teams. Assuming every QB that ends up in the playoffs will be NFL QB's. Being drafted is one thing, ever playing is another. The NFL is a very different game than college. Everyone is good, bigger and faster, as well as the pace of the game.
@@seanmccray4543 Nothing is guaranteed but we find those QB's that are the most successful aren't 5'9, or 10. Most are taller. But there have been some very good ones that are short. Russell, though a good QB ranks 17th among NFL QB's. So not legendary, not elite but good. SB will never be Drew Breeze. He just does not have that arm ability or skillset. Drew at 6 feet wasn't throwing on average 6 INT's a season also.SB in the NFL would by any coach's, "project". This means seeing if you can ever get him to NFL starter skill level, than developing an offense around his height after finding out what he does the best. At this point, it's scramble. Better known as hero ball. This is where plays break down and you scramble hoping for someone to get open and make a play. No offense wants to live in hero zone ball and I'm unsure you can build an offense out of what we've seen of SB so far. Maybe if there was a staff that worked with him to bulk up, improve his passing ability? But it's that or just draft the top ten QB's. Never know, would be nice to see him get a contract, even if it's a walk-on.
@@seanmccray4543 At this time and skill level, I could see him as a 4th string QB that with 2 to 4 years might improve enough to get a start if QB1 and 2 are a no go for a game. Anything is possible, the road is just longer and harder to get there for him. The last time we saw him start behind anything but an elite front is Juco college where mistakes were made. If he could learn or adapt to the seeing over the line issue and avoid the NFL D line hands up thing. Runs well? Who knows.
Nico is the definite number 1 and Donte and Malachi are 2 and 3. I'm not sure Arch Manning is a top 10 QB in this class. His last name has gotten him a lot of hype.
If Deion would chose out of those 22 people and let’s say 11/22 athletes and let’s say Deion choses 11 recruits but then 2 of them one of them would be class of 2025 and one of them is just and #1 4 star and if Deion decides to use some or like if the recruits decide to comit to Colorado 2 spots less than 11 of them but still include the #1 4 star and the one that’s Class of 2025 it would be if 2 less than 11 of those recruits if an official comit it would be roughly 9 recruits which is a pretty great amount if so
Yeah DJ Uiagallelei was “unreal” until Georgia Broke him in that opener in 2021! I heard that dude still has nightmares of Nakobe Dean, Jordan Davis and Channing Tindall sacking him!
I never understand why qbs like jalen Daniel’s, nico, dj, Bryce young and cj stroud want to come out to the middle of nowhere to play ball after living in SoCal lol
That’s true when you said games are won in the trenches Matt. Bc you can have all the athletes you want but ain’t going nowhere wit a trash ass O-line & D-line 😂💯
Deion said the difference between power 5 and HBCU is the guys up front on offense and defense......so what you think Matt, he got that right.....huh??
@Thomas Hilson Deion knows what he needs to win is my point.....so if your that simple minded not to get what I said, just keep following Deion moves....lmao!!
@@seanmccray4543 Your comprehension skills are NOT that great for YOU to refer to me as simple-minded based on what you said regarding my response. Let me clarify sir, then I will truncate this dialogue with you. From what I see about Deion's recruits, they are "skill" positions, NOT the "trench" positions he said separated HBCUs and Power 5 schools. He meant this in terms of talent ONLY; of course, there's a lot more that separates the two leagues. Three-star athletes on both lines of scrimmage WILL NOT protect those 4/5-star skill athletes in the Power 5. That may work with HBCUs, not with Power 5s.
We woulda loved to have another Manning... and we wish him well at the fake UT... But Nico is a pretty good consolation prize? Can't wait to see him whenever he hits the field!
I think Joe Milton is the real deal. Dude has a cannon. When hooker had dropped 50 on a team and Milton went in he looked as good if not better than hooker
You’d be surprised next year. I’m a Tennessee fan and I’m confident we will improve drastically on defense and have the same caliber offense. I see us going 12-1 or undefeated as long as we don’t get cocky
Matt thank for the video and the humor. Mel Kiper is not good at making picks and predictions. I am not trying to be a dick but it is proven by his track record.
S. SANDERS WILL SHUT YOUR MOUTH ABOUT WHOS BETTER THAN HIM.....TRUST ME......COLORADO DONT HAVE 2 PAY FOR KIDS TO COME THERE, JR. WILL HELP THEM ALL MAKE THERE OWN MONEY ON THEiR LIKENESS AND IMAGE......REMEMBER THATS A RECRUITING TOOL TOO.....😁
