Tennessee Hound Dog - The Osborne Brothers 

Here's the Osborne Brothers, racing through a high-energy vocal: "Tennessee Hound Dog." The song was written in 1969 and then released in July. As with many other great Osborne Brothers hits, this was written by Boudleaux & Felice Bryant.
This clip is from an old VHS tape I got from my friend Russ Farmer, who produced and directed this-and many more-fine shows for Kentucky Educational Television's "Jubilee" series.
In the band at that time-August, 2000-in addition to Bobby Osborne (mandolin) and Sonny Osborne (banjo), were Shad Cobb (fiddle), Gene Wooten (dobro), Terry Smith (bass), and Dana Cupp (guitar). Judge for yourself, but to my thinking, this was a great group!
Listen to the very end, where Sonny says "Shew!!" to emphasize how fast, and with what focus and concentration they played this... Amazing!
