@@francinezane4076 Prior to the start of the Seoul 1988 Olympics, Steffi trained alongside the West German Athletics team, the coaches and management were so impressed by her speed, athletic ability and the fact that she surpassed the Olympic qualifying times in the sprints, they genuinely wanted to include Steffi in their relay teams. If it didn't clash with her tennis schedule, she would have been very tempted, to put on the track spikes! That's how great she was and nearly 25 years after 'retiring' from the tennis tour, she still looks in fantastic shape...
