Yes that's true .. He is losing 4-0 games on the first set , then he win a point with on a strange way , and he is a magician .. Hahahahahaha , good player but not first class ..
LMAO... he plays tennis like it's badminton LOL. A Dustin Brown match is pure entertainment. I would go on a DB tour just to watch his matches live... LOL
ahaha really??? because Dustin only managed to reach number 64 ranking and now he's number 227 he is a "nightmare"??? :) 1. Dustin never even got to any final in a single Grand Slam tournament in his whole life... 2. Dustin only managed to "see" and get the oportunity to play and win Nadal in the court...because Dustin got to the 3rd round of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in his whole life...and even noticed that he was playing against an injured Nadal (that stop playing the whole following year to recover of it)...so much for Dustin's "fantastic victory" that for sure it doesn't qualify Dustin to become a "nightmare". Ok maybe a very little one... :D . 3. Dustin is the same age as Nadal...and it's better not even compare Dustin's "rickety" tennis career...with Nadal's, right? :D 4. Dustin's few victories around the secondary european tournaments are even less in number compared (just) to Nadal's wins in Grand Slams (so we better not mention Nadal's other titles). 5. Dustin only plays "well" and he's doing a lot of circus stunts...whenever he has a weaker opponent...or an injured one...(so much for poor "nightmare Dustin"). 6. Last but not least...if Dustin is such a grass "specialist"...why doesn't he ever reach a single final on important grass tournaments?...I guess everyone loves the idea of a "rasta" wig jumping around the court...and this must be the real nightmare just to wash in a single shower. :D
Sure. I guess I've destroyed a bit all the "excitement" about Dustin's "fantastic" performances and capacities, right? :) without due context all players seam like they all are at the same level. But they're not. Dustin (as other are) is way down the ranking and far from the real champion stuff and he's not even in the same league as the front guys...and he will never be. And there's nothing wrong with Brown being a class B player, very talented and fairly successful competing at the correspondent class B and C tournaments.
They have played twice. And Dustin Brown won twice. Nadal is an ATG tennis player. Brown is a B class tennis player. If they play for a third time on GRASS... who you would put your money on, Nadal or Brown?
That's why probably Dustin is a forgotten number 227...he plays so many circus shots that he just occasionally wins something or gets into a final (in this case he won over an injured Nadal on the 3rd round...but did Dustin won the tournament???? ahahah...noooo. :D But he's good at the circus and "very" creative...but only when he's facing a weaker opponent or an injured one :D
Like against Gasquet, Mannarino, Djokovic, Ferrer....and so on? Sorry but that point is just bullshit. He truely just occasianally win matches, but his big repertoire of trick shots and his usage has nothing to do who he is facing!
Of course it has...if you notice well we are only speaking about Dustin...because occasionally (once in a while) he beats a much better and consistent player, right? 1. The opponent (because of the opponent's quality) is the reason we talk about Dustin and not the other way around. 2. Most of the people see facts out of context...while Gasquet, Mannarino, Djokovic, Ferrer, Nadal are fighting through in the Grand Slams around the world constantly, Dustin comes out of some second rate tournaments fresh as a lettuce and even like this playing in his favour he doesn't manage to reach a single Grand Slam final...but occasionally (I repeat) every now and then erratic players like Dustin manage to surprise real consistent players by catching them either tired or injured (like what happened with Nadal). What happens then is that some couch supporters :) become hysterical screaming Dustin is Nadal's nightmare and that Dustin is the future grass "specialist"...(really??? if that's so by now Dustin would have managed to reach some majour finals right?). 3. What I am saying is... just compare Dustin's very short "winning" curriculum with Nadal's. Think that they are about the same age...do the math and realize that Dustin Brown is actually going nowhere except teaching tennis in some German or Jamaican Club Med...(or at best becoming captain of the jamaican team for the Davis cup because of the rasta wig).
Dustin has come to tennis to have fun and it shows. If he took this sport more seriously I am convinced that he would be in the top 3, without a doubt.
Dustin Brown is an amazing, intelligent player. I just wish he would grasp more of the fundamentals and play more competitive tennis! He would win many Grand Slams!
ddrums001 nah, that’s what makes him Dustin brown. He could be like Monfils if he wanted, a great defensive player that hits crazy shots now and then, but he wouldn’t be the same entertainer if he played that way. Still love both of them
I LOVE LOVE LOVE to watch Brown play. His style brings back excitement for me, to tennis. He sort of reminds me of Ilie Năstase back in the day with the crazy antics on court to make the crowd laugh, and his various ways to hit the ball. I don't mean Nastases' nasty side though. lol I want to make that clear. Brown is not like him in that way. Nastase was the guy you sometimes loved to hate but enjoyed watching him play tennis because he was damn good at it as well as entertaining.
Dustin Brown could be the top ten tennis player within 8 months of training, he needs to change his eating patterns and training patterns needs to be revised asap, this young man needs to BULK up
The problem with orthodox is they are not very technical. So from what I've seen he has this manner to rush the middle asap. This is okey against tier 500 professionals but not against top 10s.
I think he can do all that stuff, because he has huge wrist musscles. If you look closely you can see how often he stretches the limits of the ankles he can make with his hands. Pretty cool
