Tennis training with Federico Gomez D1 college player:
Country: Argentina 🇦🇷
Age: 21
Height: 6.2 ft / 1.89 mts
University: Louisville D1
I been working with Federico for the last month, in preparation for a few futures in Europe (France, Italy).
We have been working hard on fitness, especially on a player like him. We focused on serve and volley, with agressive ground strokes with the idea of going to the net. I think his potencial is really good to play the ATP Tour. In 1 year when he finishes his college career, he will be ready to focus 100% in his professional career. We will be there to help him.

What incredible racked head speed and power! Really wasn't expecting that at all.. Great work & job all around 👍👍👍

These are off slow volleys tho. It's very different generating the same speed and spin and accuracy when the ball is coming at you faster

This was great, thanks, I have been researching "building your child's self esteem" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my mate got great results with it.

Unless he works on been more accurate - not fast! - on his footwork he won't make it inside the top 50. Shame that his coach doesn't tell him

Have you seen Federer's casual training videos? Roger hits a lot harder and doesn't even look like he's trying, unlike this guy. This guy looks incredible compared to 4.5 or 5.0 level players but he's not even close to the average ATP level in terms of his speed and movement. Federer at age 37 is a lot faster than him.

For all people that are wondering how he isnt on the atp Most of the top 200 players when they train they beat the shit out of the best players in the world because they are so relaxed and just give 200% on every ball But when they come on the court they dont play so good Theres a reason why some people say-"if you play 70% of your training match youve done a good job" Top 300 guys are all the same skill level just 90% percent of them are mentally bad or have injury problems

He just hits powerful, he won’t hit 25 balls in a row like that in a match and his footwork is way too much of an effort, it’s heavy movement and too many steps that will make him very tired during matches + we will have to watch him play points and when changing rhythm as only hitting hard is not everything, his game is still very very strong though

Great video, really fun to see how intense the training is. And Federico has very impressive footwork for such a big guy. This video is also a great example of just how good pros are. Federico obviously has a huge game and tons of talent, yet he has virtually no chance of making it as a professional tennis player. I really don't want that to sound like it is taking anything away from him, it's just a fact based on his results.

Howevrr what make someone a really good pro is playing with the same style and intense in the championships aka Good mentality. We haven't seen him playing for real in any other video so again based in what did you say he can't make it?

He was 6-7 at 3 singles and 7-3 at 4 singles for #35 Louisville last season. He’s likely around the 150-200th best D1 player, which makes him totally awesome compared to most anybody, but it doesn’t come remotely close to cracking top 1000 in the pro ranks.

Despite all of the Power training athleticism excetera there's no guarantee that any player will do anything significant in the pros. It's just that competitive. On the other hand this guy and players like him would Step into the woman's tour and rise immediately to the top. These type of guys would also show up to the local neighborhood tennis courts and there will be casualties spewed all over the courts. Scary!

He has the same level of 330-550 ATP players. (He can win a couple of futures) But if he wants to go higher and do well in the challengers, he needs to lose 15kg and use more variety of shots .specially put more to spin for more clearance.. then he can get 130-150.. and then see what happens
