It took A LOT to make the Tenpai Dragon renders for the video, so consider leave a like 😩🤣 The deck strongly caught my attention so I preferred to test it before the new Melodious support, which is not yet available on Edopro by the way. The deck has a great ability to function as an engine so possibly the best way to play it is combined with some other deck like Diabellestar as it is practically the best engine currently. I wanted to try a pure version and the truth is that it works much better than I thought even going first.
What's more important is, that the most decks can OTK with round about slightly over 10k dmg. So u can't kill with prosperity, but this deck can easily kill your opponent under prosperity even your oppenent has 1-2 monster on the field. And it's so consistent and u can play a ridiculous amount of handtraps. Will buy this deck und will absolut love it because they are dragons!
0:48 remember, they activated "por of prosperity" (meaning all damage they make this turn will be cut in half) this turn 5:42 Trident Dagon VS Borrelend Dragon is just a pure ARC-V "BUT YOU STILL TAKE THE DAMAGE" moment 6:25 Remember to read people
After all these years, they finally designed a going 2nd focused archetype actually do what it's supposed to do: OTK War Rock can't even do that at all and it was designed to do that, but this deck can off of 1 card really easily and it can do that even under Prosperity lock, which is crazy
This archetype make me think of Valkyrie They both NEED that BP, both get stomped by a high attack/def monster (tho this seem to be less of a problem here) and both don't like like they have removal or whatever The good news with this archetype tho is that it doesn't restrict all ur cards to the archetype so i guess it's a better Valkyrie that can be also used as an engine since it search card from deck rather than ss from hand
Mikanko? Like, they OTK extremely well, because KAijus and Nibiru are just really good at getting through board states. Plus, power tool dragon is a way to also get in for game if your opponent chooses not to summon any monsters, or even if they do it can be a last resort. I dunno what you mean by "finally."
Looking this deck play is so incredible to watch. Definetly one of the most unique decks out there. Just playing against it might be pretty frustrating 😂
Remember folks, that this is the 1st Fire Dragon Archetype we've ever had. 25 years to get the most common, stereotypical combination you can think of 😅 Please tell me AI'm wrong, as AI don't want to believe its taken this long!
So fitting how the deck focused on fighting defeated the OTK deck, just like how you can't defeat a martial artist just by being strong. Also, I find it hilarious how it took so long to get a proper Fire Dragon deck; one would imagine Fire Dragon to be the most obvious combination of type, and attribute, but Konami disagrees by having chaos as the default type for dragons.
Now we need War Rock to get an absolutely cracked wave of support XD Personally tho, I kinda disappointed they went with Eastern-style Dragons as I would've liked the first proper FIRE Dragon deck to be Western inspired. But that's a nitpick and I'll still take this.
@@ZeothTheHedgehog There will eventually be war rock support, making it a tier one deck. Just a matter of time. Will it take a year? Will it take 10 years? I have my pile of worthless rocky mountains ready.
Going Second: Unga-Bunga OTK through all the disruptions with half damage from Pot of Prosperity Going First: Spheres Pass Seems good enough I guess. Probably among the best at what it does, but there's a reason what it does isn't incredibly popular at the moment. Maybe that'll change if blinding second becomes effective because of the sheer amount of going first decks there have been for ages.
This is a pretty cool deck, works well. My only thought is that it’s going 1st is reaaaally bad. So if your opponent knows you’re playing the deck they can just make you go first and then break your board which wouldn’t be hard. Other than that this deck is fire.
I guess the best thing you can do with the side deck in this is to play Rivalry and Gozen to prevent getting knocked out going first. Just anything to stall the game state to make it to the Battle Phase
I have been concocting some decent techs and I from what I have been theory crafting, something along the lines of Solemns and Battle Faders work pretty well in the side deck so that in case you are going first, you can endure a turn and proceed to OTK on the crack back. Also Artifact Lancea helps too because this deck dies to banishing.
Hi exordio, i've been watching your channel for a while thank you for the great content you provide😊, i was wondering is there a particular reason you always play on edopro and not on ygo omega?
I am just laughing at the amount of time you played through interruption and just went for the win! I hope they stay low rarity to enjoy on a more casual level
I like Salamangreat, it was my first deck, after a big break in yugioh, but to see that it's going full ham to build a powerful board like that and my new dragons cleared this insane board and makes an OTK.... Wow absolut insane haha
Earthbound dragon, come to my aid. to pave the way for an even mightier dragon! Watch as the essence of that Monster takes shape! Watch as it is forged by raw power! I Synchro Summon! Burn them all! Level 10 Sangen Superdragon Trascend Dragion!
BTW i added this to my dragon link deck and you know what ...baidora summon can serve as a new starter for dragon link like baidora add kaimen or manor manor or kaimen add zhongdora special summon zhongdora SS Striker and so on...or it can be lit in a dragunity deck i suppose
Instead of Spheres if you already have follow-up you could Ss the Black wing level 10 that burns for every effect activation and can nuke the field when it has 4 counters.
Hey guys, can anyone explain to me: why he attacks a monster in defense position but doesn't lose life points or the attacking monster is destroyed; while his attack power is less than the defense power of the other monster) (time 8:15) thank you everyone
Each time the dragon attacks, it can quick effect to summon another dragon, and since a new dragon is summoned you get asked "replay attack?" so he chooses "No" and attacks with new dragon to activate effect again over and over to trigger the effects to summon BEFORE the damage step.
Gotta be one of the craziest OTK archetypes ive ever seen Not even mikanko can otk through 4+ interruptions And the fact that they all can activate during “the battle phase” and not YOUR battle phase makes this deck so hard to play around cause if you want to get even a tiny bit of damage they go plus a million the moment you declare atk
Yeah, this deck might come short on the TCG tournaments because of the best of 3, specially if people know what you're playing, but think on the OCG and blind seconds... Specially if they think you are playing OTK Mikanko and don't build a board strong enough for the fear of getting lava golemd
idk if any dlink player besides me saw that. but we all know that he couldve just used saro to send lub, seyf add lub back, lub into magna, magna plus eff, launch into tracer, into pater, pater summon seyfert, seyfert into baby, into striker, into baby for seal. after that with levi snack a card in hand with pater into i:p for s:p next turn with druis, pater reborn as such as send monster , monster negate, double banish a bounce with summon plus a draw. or am i the only one to be that dedicated to that deck?😂 respectfully of course
I can see that the deck is lacking going first. I am sure Konami will print a few more cards for Tenpai Dragon like an in-archetype ominegate counter trap and another synchro that's focused on giving the deck a more viable first turn move. Like for example, make this new synchro the green/white variant combo monster that has this sort of effect. During your opponent's turn (Quick), you can choose one of these effects. 1.) If the opponent special summons a monster, you can banish it. 2.) If the opponent activates a card, you can destroy it. If you synchro summon using only Tenpai dragon monsters, you can activate both of these effects during the turn. If this card is sent to the graveyard, you can special summon a lvl 4 or lower Tenpai Dragon from the deck or gy, in face-up defense mode. Then each effect are hard once per turn for this named card. A synchro monster like that would make this deck so much more viable overall. Has some plays where if this card got sent from the extra deck, you can have a much easier time setting up the deck's overall strategy.
Nah, if you want to be on theme, it would be much more interesting if it's a card that forces your opp to enter the battle phase at quick effect speed, and then the other synchro 10 would force your opp monsters to attack into them, and kill themselves (bonus because your opp can't activate anything during the battle phase)
@@ryukagefurishira4075 I think the theme of the Tempai dragon is to otk during your turn by constantly summoning the dragons and synchroing in your battle phase. Forcing your opponent into the battle phase would be too much and doesn't really fit the theme of this deck imo. I think they just need a decent synchro monster that helps them disrupt your opponent's turn enough, then have a strong follow-up afterwards with consistency in mind. Also, I think there would be balancing issues if you have such a mechanic that would force such a thing, since it could essentially just skip your opponent's main phase 1 and straight into battle phase is kinda too strong, especially if it even forces combat too.
@@voidlockdragon1406 I don't necessarily think it would be too strong, why? Because there's main phase 2, and people skipping into the BP to activate evenly matched and go into MP 2 is a common occurrence as well, the only difference here is that you can't evenly them and if you want to be safe, you have to build your board in MP 2, allowing the dragons to survive for one turn and potentially otk on turn 3 if they go first
@@ryukagefurishira4075 Because you essentially lock them out of their main phase 1 since most decks play effect monsters to be on the field, which is the most important phase in the game. Along with losing battle phase which is the only good thing going second besides the extra card in draw phase. That's way too much for any sort of deck archetype to have, especially in this sort of deck that can otk through prosperity half battle damage drawback. If you are setting up in main phase 2, it literally means you are going to be otk guaranteed by this deck, since you couldn't setup properly nor given a chance to win during turn 2. Also, for most decks, they wouldn't be able to stop this deck that is prepped for breaking boards with the amount of cards they would play like lightning storm, droplets, etc. Your idea locks half of your opponent's turn with a simple synchro summon first turn to that monster. Almost in the same league as Calamity lock but easier to do for the Tenpai deck to do. My idea is just a fair first turn synchro that isn't just summon that link 2 hieroglyph monster then pass gameplay if forced going first. Your idea, while cool in concept, is completely gamebreaking if that were a thing.
@@voidlockdragon1406 while I see your point, I just don't like the kind of generic effects you proposed for a BP oriented deck like this one, sure they're good but personally, I don't think it's on theme for a deck that takes off only during the BP and with the current effects they have right now. it makes perfect sense for this kind of deck to force your opp into a battle phase at their own pace if forced to go first, cuz the only other way Is to give them the generic effects a going first deck would have or just die if They're forced to go first because they have 0 interruptions
So far it really seems war rock 2.0. More consistent but still lacking going first plays. Unless they print a lv1 fire dragon that acts like a starter. Wouldn't it be crazy? Sure konami would never do such silly thing, right? RIGHT?
He only does decks on release, or when they get a new support wave, with some exceptions. He made an unchained video a long time ago. If you want an unchained video, there are plenty of good unchained lists out right now.
