My brother, who is taking a gap year from UCSD at the moment, went into the encampment to return a backpack to his friend that forget it at his house. When he came out, police asked him and others if they were currently students. When he said no, they seized him, grabbing him by the shirt and shoving him onto the ground with so much force that the fabric ripped. Then they put him and others in a bus that deserted them at Ralph's, a three mile walk away from his car. Apparently the cops were smiling and seemed happy for the opportunity to dole out some unnecessary force onto peaceful protestors and harmless bystanders like my sibling who are not even affiliated with the encampments. For those of you who say that there are consequences to breaking the law, even if done in protest, you are simply not understanding that breaking the law is NOT an excuse for law enforcement to brutalize people they are taking into custody, especially those who are peaceful and compliant with their demands. I know the internet's growing army of incels are flooding these encampment raid videos with asinine comments because, let's be honest, they'll believe anything that makes them feel more secure in their misconceptions and half-truths, so I thought I'd just drop this personal anecdote about what's really happening at these universities here.

Id like to be informed as a citizen, what disapline was given to those students, and whom it was given to...These Colleges have an obligation to do the right thing and make those disaplines harsh ...all the cayous, damage and class and graduation disruptions have put a major strain on other students that pay top dollar to be students there too...Make an example of those who got out of line and had to be arrested, so this doesn't continue....No slap on the wrist, accually do something...

I'd go out on a limb and say I think that the Israeli firm Black cube intelligence is where many of the negative comments about Palestine come from - not china or russia, but the same group Harvey Weinstein hired to cover for him so many years (btw Harvey's conviction was just overturned in the New York court).
