She had tons of potential and would have been an amazing character in the show. BUT the series went from strategy and ninjutsu to pure power houses and light shows and essentially made her useless which really was a bummer because I loved the idea of a character that had tons of ninja tools

@@hellodigitalworld8224 everyone else literally got less than 10 seconds within their worlds just to show whats happening, while tenten gets two full episodes, I'd say that's Kishimoto showing his affection for her. He also said that he didn't want to favour her over the main characters in the story so doing things like those two episodes, even though it was just filler, is acceptable to me. And the fact that he chose to give her those episodes shows he wasn't lying.

True. I agree TenTen isn't useless but please don't compare characters. Later, Sakura helped heal basically most of the main characters and the whole alliance. I hate it when people compare people, it doesn't really do anything except creating fanwars and hate.

Their little screen time is what makes them useless to the show...she might as well not exist since she gets very little screen time and that makes her character useless or irrelevant to the show...

@@flameemperor7047 When she does get screen time she actually does stuff unlike Ino or Sakura. Like in the fight against the root anbu she held her own, she also summoned an ocean, tag teamed with Neji against Hidan and other stuff in filler episodes. The most Ino has done is heal a couple of irrelevant people and that's it. Her not getting screen time doesn't make her useless it just means her character was abandoned

And with all due respect, it's a little unfair saying that Ino healed irrelevant people, when all the examples of ten ten you gave making herself useful, are in fillers, which are irrelevant to the story. Ino has played her effective part in the Hidan and Kakuzu arc by finding out their location and has also played important parts in the war, and Sakura has done plenty of shit including pumping Naruto's heart, unlike tenten who only shot down a few white zetsus and took down two of kakuzu's hearts. All the other shit she has done is in fillers and in her own dream which does not affect the story in any way whatsoever. And since her character hasn't affected the story in any real way whatsoever, one can effectively say that her character is basically useless to the story...

@@flameemperor7047 If you're going to say tenten is useless to the story then so is Ino, considering she gets a lot of screen time she hasn't done shit. She didn't do anything in the Hidan fight and in general has only done minor things like heal people. And in general has to be the weakest Konoha ninja.

She still is stronger than part 2 Sakura. All Sakura can do combat wise is just punch and that's it. Tenten has a level 3.5 in taijustu which Lee had in part 1 aswell. So she can essentially just attack Sakura with her bo staff or just whip Sakura's ass with taijustu
