In this video I unbox, assemble, ride, and review the new 2023 Tenways CGO600 Pro electric bike!! This road or city ebike comes with a minimalistic lcd display screen, a 36V 10Ah battery, 250W motor with a torque sensor, 40-60 mile range, 20 mph top speed, and a 3 level pedal assist system. It's surprisingly comfortable, smooth, quiet, easy to ride, and could make a great city or commuter bike, but in this video we'll see if it's worth the price point. I hope you enjoy the video and my review on the bike!
Specs on my bike: Size medium frame, color Avocado Green.

I'm going to say this bike is worth the price. I like that it looks like your average hybrid bicycle. Good to see you back..

I ride a Raleigh Back Alley single speed and can ride up some pretty steep hills. Having a little boost would be appreciated. Still a workout either way I am sure

Do you feel like you have to remove the battery and back light when locked outside, just for safety purposes? Also, I was wondering what lock do you use since it doesn't come with a lock at purchase.
@TalalipopMTB
@TalalipopMTB Год назад
The battery can’t be removed without the key since it actually locks in place, so I’m personally not worried about that one. The rear light can be removed easily and it’s not too big to carry around so you can do that for sure, but usually I leave mine on since it’s not that expensive of a part. And I always lock up my bike with a U-lock since those are harder to cut through, you can add a cable with it to lock the rear tire up with it to be safer as well

What make me laugh is the mention of the “high price point” the e-bikes here are rond the 2400 til 4000 euros ( 2500 til 4500 dollars ) The tenway here is a low budget either 1799 euro. 😂

How much miles/km can you bike in mode 3?
@JtotheR23
@JtotheR23 Год назад
depends on your weight and the place you live - i'm 95kg and i live in a normal place (no mountains :D) and i get a distance of 60-70km in mode 3 :) but if you really care about distance you can buy a powerbank from tenways for the cgo bike... its very expensive but its something i guess

Other reviews shows how to change units between kilometers and miles.

Just looked those up; I guess my model might be a little different since it doesn’t give me an option between miles and kilometers in the settings, but only has Km. I may have accidentlely gotten a European model
@HenriZwols
@HenriZwols Год назад
Probably not. A European model wouldn't have motor support upwards of 25km/h.

How tall are you? You said you got the medium size. I'm 5'10" and wonder if getting the medium is a better choice than large. I'm kind of in between sizes, and i can't really test drive the bike where I live.
@TalalipopMTB
@TalalipopMTB 5 месяцев назад
I’d say a large would probably fit you better since the cutoff is 5’9”. You could make do with a small too but a large should be a better fit. I’m about 5’7” - 5’8” and this bike fits me totally fine, and I have the seat lower for me so you can bring it up to fit your height, but even then the bike itself may feel a tad small.
@raziel0729
@raziel0729 5 месяцев назад
Are you sure the cutoff is 5'9"? I just checked their website and it says that the medium is for people between 165 ~ 180 cm (5'5" ~ 5'11"). I live in Europe though. Are the ones being sold in the US slightly different in size? @@TalalipopMTB

I just checked some european websites and yeah you’re right that they say 180cm. It’s weird since in some websites they even say 5’9” or 180cm but those aren’t the same size lol. No idea why it’s like that unfortunately. I’ll measure the frame for you though and comment again when I get that!

Given that the US models are allowed to go 20 mph compared to the 16~ mph in the EU, is there a difference in the components? I can imagine that going faster also takes a bigger toll on the brakes.
@TalalipopMTB
@TalalipopMTB Год назад
I don’t believe there are any other significant spec changes. 16 vs 20 miles per hour on a bike isn’t too different, most fit road bikers I know can get past 20 miles per hour using their own legs on a 1970s bike or so that has old brakes on it, so this is definitely fine!
@Calimerorulez
@Calimerorulez Год назад
@@TalalipopMTB I believe the US version has a 350W motor and the EU version a 250W motor.

i was advised to get the large by multiple people, i am the same size.

@@veippa Do you have the bike? Does it feel like the correct size?
@TalalipopMTB
@TalalipopMTB Год назад
I think I would get the large if I were you. I'm around 5'7" and the medium is great for me, and you could fit on it with the seat higher, but the large should be more comfortable overall.
