Today on Let Dirt Fly, we show you how to install your new ATV tires on beadlock wheels! These steps will also work on other vehicles as well. Seth ends up choosing Terache Aztek XL Tires that we mount on Tusk Teton wheels for his 2015 Polaris Sportsman 570!

They can be run either way. There’s no directional arrows. For hard packed mud you can run them the way we have them , and the scooped way for softer mud. We’re going to be trying them both ways once the snow melts

The tires look like they are on the wrong side they should be directional check the side of the tire for a directional arrow. love the vids though keep them up!

They are correct. I agree they look backwards. I might flip a set to get the max traction forward and reverse. We will see how they act in the nasty stuff.

I believe they’re multi directional. We looked for a arrow but there was nothing on the sidewalls. I think for thicker mud you can run them facing”forward” which is the way we think we installed them and for soupy mud, you can turn them around to get more of the scoop to help pull through that stuff. We’re going to do a video in the spring when this snow melts running them both directions to see what the difference is. Thanks for watching!

I think we both agree the terache's are slightly better. The 310s are a still a great tire.

Teton is pronounced "Tee-tawn". Like the State Park, etc.

Man, my style tusk didn't come with second set of holes, I was looking at them too. I used a 5 gallon bucket to set the rim on, gets it off the ground, then used a pencil to number the bolt holes, works for me. Waiting on axles to try out my Aztec

Nope, can be run both ways according to Terache. For mud yes you turn them around for the scoop.

Nice looking wheel and tire combo for what you guys enjoy. I just built, unloaded and filled the 25 feet of tire racks stacked 3 and 4 tires high in the other building. Getting to know a bunch of tires I've never heard of or checked out before this month. After handling the weight and inspecting the tread design, I get to hear customer's opinions and look them up for cost and retail pricing on everything that goes out the door. A great education that I couldn't get in any classroom. Keep up the good work guys. Live from Chenango County.

Awesome! It would be cool to see a weight and side by side comparison on a lot of these tires. There’s a couple videos out there, but they don’t cover some of the newer tires

@@LetDirtFly When I get a chance I'll put together a few tires the same size and send you the weight and specs on the sidewall to see the difference. If you want pics I'm freaking Fred Flintstone with Tech, a flip phone with a camera and 10+ year old desktop that I bought used and buy another when it gives me trouble. I'm sure you guys can steer me in the right direction if need be. Over and out.

Do you think I could run the 30” terache ok on a sportsman 450 with a clutch kit ?

You would have to do some trimming. I have the extended front A arms and the 28s clear the front no problem, but rub every so often on the rear. With a clutch kit i think it will turn them. You will definitely loose top end.

A little bit, but with a clutch kit it was turning them no problem.

@@LetDirtFly Haha can't wait! Do you know the difference in weight between Gorilla Silverbacks and Cryptids? Have you tried the Silverbacks and how smooth they ride? Was looking at a 2021 1000R XT and want one of these 30" tires on it but don't really know the difference

@@FullTorqueOffRoad haven’t looked into those as far as weight but they definitely look more knarly then the cryptids. I feel like they’ll have more chatter for sure compared to the cryptids, but will pull harder in the mud. Also cryptids don’t measure true to size so a “30” is more like 29.1-29.4 depending on tire pressure. My 28s only measure 27.2 at 5psi lol
