Oh it's very debatable lol. Spence beat ONE undefeated fighter at 147 and it was garbage Ocampo who was a kid with no experience. Mikey too but he's nowhere close to being a welterweight. Bud beat 3 legit undefeated welterweights. Bud has the better resume at 147 tbh.

Danny beat a lot of guys past their prime. His best wins are definitely Kahn and Mattthyse at 140. Danny’s a flat footed counterpuncher, it not that he’s bad, he fought some athletic guys that had good skills.

In no plane of existence are Jeff Horn, Mean Machine, Amir Khan, Benavidez, Kell Brook and especially Avanesyan considered A-Tier fighters. Especially when Bud fought them. Huge Bud fan but him saying that Danny was wrecking it at 140 but didn’t do much at 147 is a bit obtuse. Danny fought everyone worth mentioning at 147 in his time there. He came up short every time but 2 of the championship fights could have gone either way. Spence was the only one that he got blown out in. Horn, one-legged Benavidez, Khan and Brook waaaaaay past their primes and shop-worn, Mean Machine who can’t beat prospects, Shawn 2 years after Spence beat him and on the verge of retirement. Porter is Bud’s best win in his career and Danny gave him fits in their prime and could have been seen as the champ. It’s disingenuous to say Danny isn’t better comp than all of Bud’s opponents at 147’who are mostly forgettable.

Danny Garcia has made sure to fight in a way that keeps him out of harms way of getting rocked by 147 pounders. He didn't let his hands go and throw punches against Erol. He stayed out of harms way against Thurmond. If Danny put himself more in the line of fire to deliver a hard blow, he probably would have beaten Thurmond and Porter on the score cards.

True. Bud was an extreme risk and usually when an upcoming fighter cuts through his competition, champs usually stay out of the way until a High Reward/Bounty is offered to fight that dude.
This is such a treat for boxing fans. I love errol and have been watching him since he had about 11 fights..csught onto crawford after the prescott fight. My first thought is errol will be to big and a great big guy beats a great little guy. But then i think man errol gets hit more than wed like to admit..whether thats due to his pressuring style or what have you..hes going to get hit more bybterrance than ever before..but if he can withstand it and break terrance down i think hell have the edge later in the fight. But if terrance can land with some combinations early and find his distance before errol does he may never lose him rythmn...what a fight man

Errol been at 47 his entire career and his best fight was vs Porter. And that was a close fight. Bud stopped porter. Became undisputed at 140 AND got a belt at 47. Let's not forget what weight he started at on top of all of this. Spence been a welter his WHOLE career and his resume ain't that much better than Bud. Spence beat up on lil guys. The only true WW he fought was Porter (close fight) Ugas (had like 5 Ls) and Brook (GGG ruined him)
Crawford is a better strategist than Spence is, but Spence is a dog he can box and will keep coming at you. I got Crawford purely because of his boxing IQ bruh is highly skilled.

The top level fighters level change, switch stances and style, which keeps their opponent second guessing and tentative. They have to stay more focused throughout and the mental energy needed is what wears fighters out. So its not so much waiting for fighters to wear out but more so making them wear out.

I was an Errol fan still am. I used to not like Terrance cause of bias but…he’s grown on me a lot and it’s going to be a big fight I thought Errol was gone win but I feel Terrance got it. Spence getting stopped by Bud watch the first rounds of Pac vs Ugas he was getting peppered till old Manny faded early Ugas got lucky that wasnt younger Manny he would get blitz. Danny sky rocketed to the top after defeating Amir Khan. That's how Danny became a "top welterweight". Crawford should also understand that styles makes fights.
