I built my wife a Tergrid deck and it's one of the best decks I've ever played against. I wish I could get someone to do a deck tech on it lol. I might suggest make an example as a notable missing card, I have a ton of other suggestions, but besides ashnod's altar they're not budget friendly
Yeah, it's a scary commander to go and take on. You can't let it get a foot hold, or you will soon be playing against your own deck on someone else's playing field.
@@chaoticbeagleentertainment the worst part about my wife's deck is that it's extremely resilient, so if you try to keep it down it'll switch into full control mode and all of a sudden nobody has a hand besides the Tergrid player who's still doing good because of necropotence or bolas's citadel. For awhile I was even running aetherflux reservoir and sensei's divining top for that and magus of the coffers plus staff of domination so you could use the back side of Tergrid, but that stuff was just too cute
Oh man, yeah, those are some primo choice xards to run in this deck. The fact that the deck can shift gears is awesome and scary as hell. That is the kind of thing that makes for good magic games. I love to see decks that can do that and still end out with a good position.
@@chaoticbeagleentertainment yeah, now it's focusing on using phyrexian reclamation and phyrexian altar to loop fleshbag marauder effects with a grave pact effect in play. It can do the same thing with the virus beetle to clear out everyone's hands. I generally describe the deck as an all consuming hunger that just wants to eat everything, and Tergrid is able to control it to some extent and actually use it to win lol.
