This is an edit I made combining the future war scenes of 2029 in The Terminator (1984) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991).
Thanks for all the feedback (and views) everyone! After an overwhelming response this is the way the video will stay, thank the purists.

Scariest part of this is the human skulls... once they were people with dreams, a unique smile, and a unique sense of humour... crushed into dust and oblivion by the wake of the advancing machines.

The future scenes in the original film were some of the most bleak and depressing depictions of the future ever put on film. The darkness, landscape, and the music all bring it to life and make it seem so real. It's truly amazing what Cameron did with the tools available to him.

The scenes from the future in the first Terminator showed us the raw feeling of misery, despair and hopelessness of a world ruled by cold heartless machines. Something the next four films never really went back to, maybe because it was too gut-wrenching. Instead, it was more bombastic war scenes, car chases and terminator duels than anything else. Which progressively got more tedious and almost meaningless in the successive sequels in my opinion.

Since the childhood I always liked John's glance and how he looks around, analyzing the sitation on the battlefield. These cold-blooded and determined eyes still make everyone wonder what kind of shit he had to make it through to stay here where he is now and will we be able to witness his growth in upcoming franchises. One and true leader
