My Interpretation/Cover of Brad Fiedel's original theme to the 1984 Sci-fi/Action/Horror Film - The Terminator.
After re-watching the film a handful of times for inspiration on a different track, I felt compelled to make this version.
All Sounds designed and created myself. Drum samples at the end recorded by myself.
808 Drum machine with a few analogue Synthesizers and samples.

One thing I've noticed about the terminators first 2 movies was the complete lack of humans to shoot gigantic targets. Kinda makes you wonder how John Conner turned it around.

I have seen somewhere that some of the instruments used were: Oberheim OB-Xa, SCI Prophet-10, DMX and Emulator. These were expensive, even in 80's money. For Terminator 2, I believe a Fairlight CMI was used too. Only the very wealthy could have bought that machine. Nonetheless, Brad Fiedel created masterpieces.

Thanks for the appreciation. Terminator Anime would be great if done with the production quality of Akira mixed with the brutal aggression of Fist of the North Star and Ninja Scroll.

Great 80s vibe, with lots of Giorgio Moroder/Harold Faltereyer vibe. In a different Storyline, Traxler and Vukovich are replaced by Tubbs and Crockett.

Terminator moved from California to Florida, shot at sunset rather than at night and the leather replaced with Hawaiian shirts and chinos. Thanks for the cool comment.

The original is definitely a sci-fi thriller. The sequel was more an action blockbuster. Both great films but with a different feeling.

Thats a great idea. I re-watched the original 1982 Tron the other day for ideas and need to re-watch Legacy. After i finish my current track I will have a go.
