See everything the game has in the final mission. This game is not worth the 'full price' tag. It has a real Homefront The Revolution look and feel. It's also extremely padded with dull content to push the game to a 7-8 hour length.
i played this then watched T1 and T2. it's crazy how much it actually works with the storyline. the developers are extremily small studio, i wasnt expecting much but the music feels like they hired a top notch composer.. despite the rambo fuck up, they redeemed themselves abit with this one. if a new terminator games comes in the future, i want these guys to do it again. they are real fans of the terminator franchise and they understand the story.
@@FormaFilmDan I just hope they give it the same love and aspiration. There is another Terminator game called dark fate defiance but I'm not really into those real time strategy games
@@bennlanglands9551 you mean the difficulty? I remember when it first released it was kind of easy even on Extreme. Now Hard feels like Extreme and Extreme is probably difficult af.
@@johnjoe69 I mean which is fair for the Terminator lore. I mean the T-800's would have night vision and infrared tech and in a realistic setting, they could sit and wait, not make any kind of noise and you could walk up on them and suddenly get shot and you'd be dead before you knew it.
Exactly. He has been used as nothing more than nostalgia bait after t3. This game proved we can have a phenominal terminator title without The Terminator. Without Arnold.
It’s not like every single Infiltrator T-800 looks like Arnold, we can see from the first film that there’s other Infiltrator appearances. So this is completely in line with canon.

It quickly became one of my lifetime Favorite games. But maybe only because I have a unique bond with the franchise. I am grateful for the developers and I don't mind the price tag either!
9:24 was the definitive moment for me in the game, when you climb up the slope to the last area. The theme subsides just moments before and rises again for the last push. Just epic. Most memorable moment for me in any game that I have played.
The change in the score at minute 7:00, is just the final cherry to this game on the most beloved moment I’ve ever had playing a video game I freaking I’ve this the story has now been recognised as the official prequel to T1&T2, which is just testimony to how loved this game is by the fans.
Seeing Skynet turn off like that in the end gave me an empty feeling. I never thought I’d actually see Skynet go offline…. Despite how I saw it ONCE in Genesis, this was kinda better in comparison.
Every time I play this mission, I get chills and my blood gets pumping every time that theme song plays. The sounds of explosives, servos moving and plasma blasts make it even more epic
Man ...the last mission was awesome how everything went and how I was playing and the music it literally looked and felt like a movie ..I love that ..the mission was so good I literally replayed the mission.
7:03 "we did not bow down we did not give in we rose up willing to sacrifice everything so our children can live in freedom on this night we take back our world"!!!!!! *soldiers cheering*
I thought exactly the same LOL.. I was glad it was on my side.. it was a jaw drop, cannot imagine the fear of the resistance when you are on the other side of that thing.
For the many comments about the story/plot and how it works with T1 and T2.. praises to you folks! Indeed this is the 'future war' we all wanted and Hollywood could not deliver and NEVER will, this story ties T1 and T2 perfectly, it is how the Terminator franchise concludes. Wish a fan film can do it justice and does this entire game in movie mode...but it has to be done with the same production that the 'Hunter Killer' fan film is made.
The last choice is the hardest in the whole game. To live the best you can after all these ordeals and leave your other self behind without any help? Or to sacrifice yourself in this form here and now and your whole life to save yourself in another timeline? It's really a titanic effort to make any of the choices.Whatever is chosen will either haunt the conscience that something has not been done or will have to sacrifice one's life in the near future. This is the moment when you realize how hard quest Kyle Reese had before him.I used google translator but i guess you understand.Greetings from Poland 🙂
Humanities final hour, our final push to end the war against the machines. A final endeavour for freedom and the sanctity of life. If you are reading this, you are... THE RESISTANCE.
They should do another game - this game works so well! Aliens could have been as good, but they did it for a small studio. If you didn’t honestly have fun when fighting the terminator army and had this soundtrack playing… you are crazy. I had a great time doing it.
Well, thanks for showing the bad clips. You're wrong, but thanks nonetheless. While I will admit this game isn't for everyone, this IS much better than the multimillion dollar blockbuster bombs that claimed to be Terminator movies. Specifically, Terminator fans can derive MUCH enjoyment from this, and I would recommend that people take some time to play it for themselves. Sorry you don't agree.
@@SephiMasamune Haven't played the game, but I think it's the incentive the player needs to do a second run. You screwed up, but now you've been given a second chance to make things right. I like the story decision the team made and how it can affect the second playthrough.
This is basically The Stranger's (Future Jacob) ending where his mistakes prevented certain events from happening as they were suppose to. The good ending is the ending he gave to his past self.
The latest automated gun platforms, pretty much don't miss. Out the effective range of the weapon. When they shoot they hit what they aim at. And their sensors are very good. Pretty much humans would be done.
I enjoyed this game so much. It just sucks that I suffered from the reset bug that reset my level, skills, inventory and forced you to get the worst ending. I was worried that this would be a game-breaking bug as I no longer had the level and skills unlocked to be able to wield plasma weapons to defeat the terminators in this last mission. Thankfully that wasn’t the case as I was able to still use those guns. But it would have been really nice to be able to use all my bombs, rockets, etc that I collected throughout the game in this last section.
In the Pescadero level you have to sneak by Terminators or let hacked turrets kill them for you because trying to engage them solo would be suicide. In the final push you're mowing them down with plasma miniguns and one-shotting them with headshots. It's a perfect encapsulation of how mankind triumphed over Skynet.
This was a super Meh game mechanics wise, the AI was so dumb, but it was literally the coolest Terminator game EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I got goose bumps playing it. The music, the lighting, the scenery, all of it just combined into the most faithful adaptation of any terminator anything, since terminator 2.
@@JohnKill3DGaming word, I played it on the highest difficulty as I do with any game, my problem is if there is always an exploit in a game, I will abuse it, and in this if you just walk out of enemy range of agro, they just walk away backwards not shooting and you can just shoot them. Regardless of the AI, I really do hold this game in very very very high regards. It really is just faithful as heck.
the thing I find sad about skynet's loss is that they never got to enjoy Earth for themselves. They didn't get to have fun, play, laugh (if they can), discover, do, etc. All they ever did was fight
@@theemeraldenderman3007 well yes but that was their only solution in order to get Earth to themselves and it was all for nothing. I'm not saying they should have won though
I think that No Fate Quest Complete is a subtle jab at Dark Fate. I wouldn’t doubt that during production, the developers knew how bad Dark Fate was and added that at the last minute to show how superior they are and that movie doesn’t count and shouldn’t be canon.
If they destroyed the core wouldn’t that have shut down power to the TDE? Also how did they know how to program and use the TDE? That part was a little too convenient.
Can Any body, Explain, when Defence Grid was Smashed, then, why Defence Red laser Beam Work Continue till Quest End And explained me also, This last Quest battlefield is Skynet TDE Base, Or Skynet centre core. If both Base is Different, then Skynet centre core Is not Secured by Any Defence Grid, I am confused, where 124 unit Fight, And Jhon Corner Continue Communicate with sergent River, Where is corner, at the time of Final Quest In Resitence HQ or in Battel Field, I am big fan of terminator Frenches, So I will not digest any confusion.
John Connor has been eliminated (dark fate) are there any Terminator movies anymore when John Connor is dead still the memories live on goodbye John Connor our hero! 😢😢😢
The Terminator theme in the first movie there's a storm coming The Terminator theme in the second movie the storm is near The main Terminator theme in this game the storm is here and we are barely hanging on The final battle version of The Terminator theme we are the storm
Necro comment but literally the worst possible ending. Everyone died, they can’t get Arnie to work now, and Jacob has no choice but to go back. I was okay with having Jacob decide he was done since Jennifer and her brother lived, he gets to go find them, but not so much when everyone is dead. Then ya really have to fix the mistakes and die.
What makes you think that as opposed to the T-X? Wait. Scratch that. Connor literally tells us that the third terminator was to kill YOU in the past. It was the infiltrator you fought.
Wrong, the third terminator is the one sent to kill your character in this game. The game is a direct sequel to T2 and ignores all the shitty movies that came after that, including Dark Fate and its moronic “Carl” character.
"This game is not worth the 'full price' tag. It has a real Homefront The Revolution look and feel. It's also extremely padded with dull content to push the game to a 7-8 hour length." Wth game did you even play???
