Here’s a complete list of the mistakes made that were not caught: *Forgot to raise TR for the first ocean placed (which would’ve given you one more credit going into Gen 2) *Overpaid for Solar Wind Power by 2MC *Underpaid 2MC for Deimos Down *Forgot to get 4MC rebate for Strip Mine *Overpaid for Arctic Algae by 1 MC *Underpaid 1MC for Imported Nitrogen *Forgot to get 2MC for placement bonus of last ocean *Overpaid for Mangrove by 1MC All in all, the mistakes cost you money, so it’s certainly still possible (assuming a stacked deck and perfect knowledge of what cards are coming). Very cool! I’ve played nearly 3000 solo games and this was magnificent to behold!

Nice! One mistake I saw at 15:30 - solar wind power should get discount of 11, not 9. But then immediately cancelled out at 16:55, where Deimos Down should have discount of 11, not 13, so no difference in the end. :)

Your commentary is great. I love that you called Optimal Aerobraking the "egyptian god card" but it really is 😆 But uh-oh did you miss giving yourself a TR when you placed an ocean at around 13:47? (But at 22:27 you gave yourself an extra 1 so it evened out haha)

Ever thought about making an Ideal Start Sequence with expansions? Tried it, and made a rough sketch with Point Luna as Corp, all expansions, promo cards and preludes. If i didnt make mistakes, I noted down 100 Gold production 5 TR and 14 Titanium production after my first generation (with all expansions, promo cards and preludes). Probably could still be improved significantly. Would love to see you optimize it and make it happen XD I saved the science draw engine for gen 2 though so that you possibly can get victory points from the science cards on Venusian Animals.

You forgot to get 2 M€ when you placed that left-most ocean near the end

I am amazingly impressed by this. A few minor errors (mostly to disadvantage, such as overpaying etc.). There was the Research Outpost (which you picked up on before generation 2) and towards the end you were deducting 4 instead of 5 for some of the cards. I like the Media Group and Optimal Aerobraking combo, and I used it myself in one game.

Can you place greeneries not next to your city? When you dropped 4 greeneries at 32:15 they were in a different area than your city. Do single player games allow this rule?

25:09 "for 8" Arctic algae cost 12, but you've got 5 discount at that point, so it should cost 7. Not a big mistake. Same story at 33:32 with Mangrove - exact same mistake.

You didn't place the research outpost when you played the card, as best as I can tell (haven't finished the video).

With only the Prelude expansion, choosing your corporation and prelude cards, selecting the project cards and placing the starting random cities/greenery where you want (thus eliminating the luck factor), can you Terraform Mars in 1 generation?

I'm sorry and ik I've only played 1 round of the game in solo but it clearly states in the rules that you may only do 2 actions a generation and u did like 25 per generation

You forgot to take your big card rebate for Strip Mine a the end of gen 1.

You were hand waving the “draw three pick one discard two” as a “draw one” because you didn’t want to worry about a discard pile. However, since the deck is obviously stacked, unused cards could be inserted to make it still work, it just makes the scripting even more rigid.

Did u use credicor effect when paying for AI central and strip mine? It would be 8 credits

29:14 anyone able to explain why the oceans placed = 7 plants picked up, not 3? same again on his next turn getting 3 plants for placing an ocean on a single plant. by my count that nearly a whole greenery magically added to his board.

Uh, am I just being dumb here but I thought you can only use the blue card actions once per generation, so your planned is flawed by the time you play your 3rd card in generation 1 - you can't use the -3 discount again until next generation.

Is that how the optimal aerobrake card works. I thought events were a one time thing, so you get the bonus for the next space card you play, but not again after that
