There is indeed an Anti-Piracy screen, just not in PC, it's in mobile and in a nutshell it says: That was not very cash money of you, download the game legally bruh.
It also says that it might be because your device has the wrong time. I guess those are the measures they take to keep mobile out of Halloween and Christmas events early (even though PC and Console have that luxury??). Maybe there is something about the mobile version that I don't know about
Harley: You should ask me for some advice. Player: *Asks for advice* Harley: Sorry, I don't give help to criminals. Player: That's it. *Places down TNT*
Honestly I think it would have been much more horrifying and effective if the wall of flesh appeared out of nowhere and multilated you or trapped you inside of it for the final screen.
@@Mightyscandareif the merchant didnt actually sell items. It wouldnt be much of an inconvenient, but everyone would know that you pirated the game. Dont mock me
I think the final screen would be better with the crimson song instead of the corruption since the crimson actually sounds kinda scary while the corruption sounds like an actual song that you would listen in a car ride or something
I was thinking that there would be a weapon you get from the pirate invasion called the “Illegal Copy Destroyer” and the description says “Piracy is wrong”
I feel like of there was an anti piracy thing, the game would just spawn a dungeon guardian every time you spawn, so if you're a fresh character, you cannot out run them, and even if you are a geared imported character, you'd be constantly, forever on the run from them
I'd make it so that the corruption/crimson doesn't spawn. No NPCs would show up (not even the Guide), and after 3 days, pirates would show up and take you in. After a while on the boat, the Eye Of Cthulu (or Brain Of Cthulu, but that depends on what corrupter it would have) would show up, ravage the boat (so if the player didn't die to the boss, they'd sink to the bottom of the ocean and drown), and it would boot them out to an anti-piracy screen like the one at the end
I wish that every entity would be replaced by a pirate that calls you by a pirate npc name, and your name would change to pirate. If all entities are replaced by pirate, it would prevent pogress and you will be stuck in prehardmode
In a pirated version of Terraria... None of the NPCs will help you (Except the Pirate) All enemies will have their health tripled All neutral enemies will instantly become hostile. (Not like there are any neutral mobs to begin with.) A Pirate Invasion can happen at any time
nah they should just have a never-ending pirate invasion start as soon as you load in. Anyone dedicated enough to keep playing would probably have already bought the game.
Fun fact terraria actually has an anti piracy system, it's locked to the marathon medalist archievement, but what it does exactly? Well.... Everytime your character walks you will be greeted by an annoying lag that will keep haunting you untill you get the archievement, and since this is the "jack sparrow" version we're talking about here, that means everytime you reopen the game all the archievements will be reset, leaving you to experience your well deserved pain for not buying the game.
i played it pirated because i really wasnt sure if i liked it but after a few hours i liked it alot and bought it, now that i have mods its such a fun game And i already have 10 hours on calamity.
terraria s piracy screen shouldve been like when you create a world it takes 1 hour and when u spawn in theres 50 pirates killing u, and u cant do anything but just watch and then after 20 second it show the anti piracy scren
The way I would see a Terraria Anti Piracy Measure being done: - Your Characters are all locked on Hardcore - As soon as you spawn into the world, A Pirate Invasion starts, and no matter how many you kill (if you can even kill any), it won't end - After you die, instead of becoming a ghost, the Anti Piracy message displays, and the game crashes after you close the message: "This copy of Terraria may have been Pirated! Video Game Piracy is a serious crime with even more serious consequences. Please report this illegal copy immediately! The game will now close."
