Today we continue our crazy new Terraria playthrough! Of course were our coins = weapon damage! Thanks to the coin mayhem mod, we've been given completely new way of playing the game, were today we start off by entering Hardmode, which for the first time in the playthrough, introduces a new rule... If we die, we lose alllll our money on hand. Meaning I HAVE to make sure to be careful, and hopefully not leave all my eggs in one basket. So, with a the mech bosses just over the horizon now, lets crack on shall we! Enjoy!

this is basically a terraria RPG, where if you kill a ton of monsters you get more exp, and become stronger, and if you die to them, you lose exp, thus becoming weaker, so you can stop calling it "farming" here and start calling it "training"

One thing I always do in my worlds is set up actuators over the platforms above my ocean so that I can turn them off and just have a small platform on the far edge of the world to fish from. Makes blood moon fishing much faster since I can just focus on staying in one spot fishing until something big bites. I still recommend having a strong summon to deal with the flying enemies that can spawn above empty water, but other than that whenever I use this setup, the usual Blood Moon pests who roam about can't slow me down by forcing me to leave the ground to juke them.

When fishing during blood moons just dropping down through the platform will make the enemies fall into the ocean. Helped me heaps in several play throughs

Did you save the tax collector? He spawns immediately after wall of flesh gets defeated. You use that cleaning dust which dryad sells on an enemy which is called tortured soul. He gives you coins for every npc present in your world. Its passive income.

You're building a Minecraft mob grinder in Terraria. I was doing the same until recently, when I learned that the volcano style is not only easier to construct and use, but also perfectly optimal - mobs in Terraria pick any spot in the spawn zone and if it's not a block or a wall, they spawn on the nearest surface below. Therefore a single floor will have a higher spawn rate than multiple floors, since it's the air spaces that count, not floors. (Well, the floor they are to spawn on can't be in the safe zone, so I guess a single additional floor right above the safe zone would probably be even more optimal.)

I mean...as long as he got the crystal shard, he can set up for a glitch which duplicates the shard and then sells it to makes tons of money. Buuuuut that would be too op with this mod anyway
