summoner: I got 20 defense spider armor, right after entering hardmode. also summoner: I got 30 defense wooden armor for pre-mood lord, having less defense than palladium.

I know, I know, armor made of grass overshadowing armor made of metal is weird But someone explain how armor made of meteorites from space, obsidian plating from volcanic substances and heck even gold itself *gets overshadowed by pumpkins*

I remember a time when I had cactus armor and was removing lava by turning it into water then using bombs to explode it. I then realised that it can be used to craft a good pre hardcore set and I was very happy

The fact that meele orichalcum armor has more defense than a literal armor made from stardust shows how much logic this game has

It would make sense that melee has so much defense if melee didn’t turn into infinite ammo, no mana ranged or magic when it started getting good. I think summoner should have near the most because summoner does mostly dodging.

I think the defense is a good tradeoff since nebula gives you 45% damage and insane regen for both mana and health.

Stardust Armor, crafted from space materials dropped by a god, the final summoned armor piece, is worth as much as some green plant armor at it's weakest form

I have grown to understand that the summoner class ironically requires players to stay the closest to bosses because the summons stop attacking unless the boss is on screen. Even melee players can outrange summoners with swords like influx waver, and long-range boomerang like possessed hatchet. And yet, summoners have the lowest defense. It truly depicts the master mode of classes whereas melee depicts the easy mode. True melee players are insane tho.

Meteorite armor from space that is probably thousands of years old is 16 defense. Pumpkin armor which is literally a vegetable is 18 defense. monk armor which is only a little piece of cloth over your chest and it's 46 defense!!!!! Makes total sense terraria 10/10 great game thank you
