A long time ago I didn't know that the wof existed and accidentally summoned it. That scared younger me and I didn't beat the wall for 5 more years. When I did I didn't know about hard mode so I stopped playing for awhile because I thought I beat the game. Now I have beaten it.

Step 1:get the hell bow from chests in hell and get hellfire arrows Step 2: make a path going from one end of hell to the other(or shorter if your doing it with your friends) Step 3:spawn it and use speed boots to run the other way while shooting behind you Step 4: target one specific area and shoot there as much as you can Ps make sure you have an iron skin,healing and and regeneration potion
I’ve been using these guides for all my boss fights recently, the only one I had to deviate slightly from so far was skeletron (I had to cheese it with a minecart circle but oh well) so I hope this helps as much as the others did
when using the demon scythe. if the wall is moving very quickly (end of fight?) shoot ahead of you, the wall will move through the scythe, and then the scythe will pick up speed and hit the wall. if you aim well, it can even hit the eyes. but with mythical modifier, it's 40 damage. That can hurt Expert skeletron with both hands intact.
Ah, I remember the old times, when I fought Wall Of Flesh with Melee, betrayed melee and then went onto mage. Now I’m playing ranger on a different avatar, literally destroyed Wof by using Dyanmite
I had to laugh about the difference between normal and expert wall of flesh. I was farming in the underworld on a normal world, so as to get some help with expert Skeletron, and I got ambushed by the Wall of Flesh. I trashed him. No potions, no arena, etc. So, more confident, I set up an arena, got prepared, and fought the expert version later on. Let's just say I didn't live long... So, now I'm checking guides to see what mistakes I made, and what ideas I can use.
With your guides, I killed Queen Bee, Skeletron, and Brain of Cthulu in one try on expert mode. I'm really not good at the game, so you really helped me out XD
Glad you like them! Honestly I just came across the game and it looked interesting, so I bought a 4 pack for my friends and I to play together. Took awhile to even get around to trying it, but I enjoyed it when I did of course. We all were initially totally lost about what to do in the game, lol Then after starting my channel, I decided to start playing through and learning about it as I went, originally just did some basic guides along the way. Those started to get popular, plus I had done a guide for another game that became popular, so I kept going making more guides. I began to realize how much content the game has, and how dedicated the awesome Terraria community is, so I gradually became more serious and dedicated to it myself. So here we are, lol.
Thanks. That's always the challenge, finding ways to make it shorter without losing the details. Been adding some basic graphics on the more recent ones.
I fought the wall of flesh like 300 time to get a sorcerer emblem. They should increase the drop chance because all of the classes in the game require them edit: where’s the pumpkin head?
Wow! That sounds like the Terraria luck generator being unusually mean... which from comments and experience it is sometimes. Different character and world, so no pumpkin head. ;-)
Hey um do you have any ideas of what I can do endgame... I’ve done all the class play through a purified my world and I have most armor sets and weapons... I try to watch videos but it doesn’t give me anything... Any ideas?
In expert mode you may want to have the campfire under the bridge along with a heart lantern and a sun flower for the speed bonus. For the most efficient spacing there should be a 200 foot gap between each station.

Makes a bridge heading to the left side of the under world but the wall of flesh spawns where you made the bridge Me: *"You weren't supposed to do that"*
The ugliest and creepiest boss in the game XP I've had the guide voodoo doll drop apparently right out of the world and the Wall look like a featureless mass of glop until it rose fully into the world. I did quite a lot of digging to isolate the Crimson. The Hallow, on the other claw, managed to get around the Underground Jungle and almost took over my far left ocean. It took some frantic digging, multiple sprays of green solution from the Clentaminator, and finally a brick wall in the ocean to stop it. About a third of my world is Hallow now. My first time facing the Wall, I already had the flairon thanks to a hardmode friend farming Duke Fishbreath while I was still preparing my world for hardmode.
Indeed. Interesting! Yeah, these days I try to isolate the Corruption/Crimson before the WoF fight. Then there's still the issue of the "giant V" and any altar seeding once in Hardmode. Damn. Flairon vs The Wall would be so OP! xD
@@grobeman I was digging a tunnel to run wire through once and hit an altar with the drill mount... Had a Crimson infestation in my 'safe zone'. Took a lot of clentaminator solution to get rid of it. The problem with trying to get rid of the Hallow from the far left ocean was that it had spread to blocks past the edge of the world and no matter how much I sprayed I could not reach it all. Ended up digging a trench through the ocean and filling it with bricks, then using the bottomless water bucket to refill the water that drained into the underworld. I think it was altar-break seeding that got the Hallow over there to begin with since it couldn't get around the underground jungle, even if it did contaminate the underworld
Here’s a guide, grab every potion and a demon scythe, then run along on a 5000 block campfire covered platform with mana potions and a mana flower, then just keep jumping to dodge the lasers and spam the demon scythe.

It's worth while to grind for terraspark boots before the fight in expert mode, it makes bridge making a little less taxing since you can run on lava, plus you get the speed and a bit of flight.
*throws doll in lava* Me: *notices wall of flesh is coming from the opposite direction from my bridge, so im forced to jump off my bridge* Also Me: *takes out wall of flesh with no issue.. all thanks to my starcannon, beastly 97 damage before skeletron*
I have molten armour because i like using melee alot, but for this fight do you think it would be worth switching to range or mage armour to keep at a distance?
Are Yo-Yos good against WoF? Because i spent 3-5 hours farming the damn thing Until i discovered you can get them with any statue-spawned enemy near the underworld
Hotline fishing rod is actually hardmode only the potion itself can be obtained via pots or chests but inferno potions can't be crafted. As for the wall to emphasize that it should be remembered that the WOF at max speed can't be outrun On expert The WOF treasure bags always drop both a weapon and an emblem. Now in normal you do only get one drop either the emblem or the weapon, so yeah the wiki was referring to normal mode and technically isn't wrong as you get a treasure bag instead of the drops in expert.
pro tip: in expert you can use the royal gel to stop the lava slimes from attacking you meaning you wont need to kill them and form a lava pileup on your bridge.
