@Mebos1982 That what they said back in the mid 1990s when he had to fight for his life against that earlier attempt on his life for which he went to prison for as he did severely injure that individual. No one would kill someone over a simple: "salary dispute" particularly when it could be settled with the law. The fact of the matter is that he was assassinated because he was calling for the restoration of the Boer Republics which the elite of all races do not want.
Furthermore: a Boer Patriot named Robert van Tonder left the National Party in 1961 [ the SAME year that the usurper Hendrik Verweord turned South Africa into a nominal republic ] in order to advocate for the restoration of the Boer Republics. Van Tonder REFUSED to be a part of the Broederbond [ hence he was uncontrollable ] & founded his own political party called the Boerestaat Party after the other political parties refused to consider the restoration of the Boer Republics.

The Cape Dutch descended Afrikaners held the LARGEST influence in the Afrikaner Broederbond due to their larger numbers within the White Afrikaans speaking population therefore the Boers were marginalized under the Afrikaner designation. American libertarian author Joseph Stromberg noted in the Journal for Libertarian Studies in 1999 that the Boers patriarchal system was REPLACED by the Apartheid system which itself was INITIATED by the British at the Cape & Natal during the 19th cent.
This reporter was ignorant of some basic facts. First: the Boers are in fact a recognized nation around the world who are renown for their liberation struggles. The book: The Story of the Boers by Dutch diplomat C W van der Hoogt published in 1900 notes on page 96 that the Boer Republics were recognized by Britain / Holland / France / Germany & Belgium. The Boers are a distinct nation even from the Afrikaners as most Afrikaners are not of Boer descent but Cape Dutch descent.
Not only did the British conquer the Boer Republics but they then established their vassal state called South Africa which still exists in almost the exact same form to this very day still serving the interests of those that created it & subverting the just self determination aspiration of the various peoples & nations therein. The Boers in particular have been struggling for freedom ever since 1795 & even before when they began to trek away from Dutch rule prior.

The country has always been fucked up you just don't care about it because your people were always on top but now we are equal and the thought of being on the same level of blacks and coloureds scares you. Robert van Tonder had an illegal printing press which he used in order to get his message of Boer self determination out which was severely REPRESSED by the National Party government. The South African regime & the Afrikaner establishment opposed van Tonder so strongly that they sent out folks to harass & threaten him. Robert van Tonder had a notable influence on Eugene Terre'Blanche as Terre'Blanche began to adopt the notion of restoring the Boer Republics BUT van Tonder HATED the AWB flag.
Sadly we could see & hear he was not the man he once was after he came out of prison, his stutter just became worse & worse... they sadly broke ET in prison... :( Many people don't know he was a good man with a kind heart!

The Afrikaner establishment oppressed the Boers particularly when the Boers tried to restore their old Boer Republics during the 1940s when the Afrikaner establishment organized AGAINST the Boers & broke the Boer Republican movement up & co-opted its remnants into the fold. Furthermore: Boers were prevented from rising too high in the political order save for those who towed the Afrikaner Nationalist party line & renounced Boer self determination. The Afrikaner Broederbond ran the National Part.
I know it’s probably too late to answer, but... Afrikaners and Boers are the same nation, descendants of people who came from the Netherlands, these are just two different names for the same nation. British settlers who destroyed the Boer Republics and killed 30,000 women and children in concentration camps moved to the coast of South Africa, brought monarchism and prevented Afrikaners / Boers from having their own state. The National Party was a party in which the majority were Boers. The party was founded by Boer generals and helped Boer's small farmers and workers

The Boer people in fact do have a legitimate right to self determination & the late Boer Patriot Robert van Tonder LEFT the National Party in 1961 [ the same year the usurper Verwoerd turned South Africa into a false & nominal republic ] in order to pursue the goal of restoring the Boer Republics & reacquire Boer self determination. The Boers developed on African soil & established 17 republics in their past with the ZAR / OVS & Vryheid being the most notable republics.

Terre'Blanche was killed because the elite had to get him out of the way before the Soccer World Cup as the world's media would have gravitated towards interviewing him & that would have spelled disaster for those who wish to continue the subjugation of the Boer people as the truth would come out more than.

Looks like they finally did assassinate Terre'Blanche but they had to wait until he was asleep unlike the last attempt in the 1990s when Terre'Blanche fought back & injured the fellow.

There are some dangerous misconceptions here. First: The Boer people did not oppress anyone because what MrMoses & others do is redefine the term Boer as per its derogatory use for White people in general & the White regime in particular. The actual Boer people were themselves oppressed by the White regime because the regime was run by Afrikaners: a macro term that was applied to all Afrikaans speakers BUT it lumped the smaller Boer population in with the larger Cape Dutch population.
