This witness is not going to perjure himself . You may think that looks odd but it’s not. What is odd is the attorney badgering him to tell a date he does not know in factuality with admissible evidentiary facts. But think for a minute, This not a weekend “get a beer or golf friend.” This is not a “work in the same office go to lunch friend.” Why on earth WOULD he have FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE either by proven plausible audio or video or as a first hand witness proof of when A personal relationship began? HE CANNOT HAVE THOSE ANSWERS, HE WAS NOT PRESENT AT THAT TIME. Even if Wade or Willis told him the time date and location that a personal professional relationship turned more personal, that can’t be used as evidence. He can only give testimony in court to his first hand eye or ear witness accounts . Obviously he did not double date and go back to their rooms with them. He cannot just “ estimate dates.” That is perjury! If every yahoo could be used as a first hand source evidentiary witness without actual eye witness proven evidence, then think of how many pissed off Ex’s would say they saw it on ( add the date?) HE CANNOT rely on other people’s words as testimony He has to go by proof to give that date. He can’t. He can say an approx in a deposition… (although his attorney should have countered that on the spot in his deposition.) But he cannot, on a witness stand, give a date, if he did not personally witness that event. Its awkward to hear for sure. Actually I don’t know why this judge did not shut this down as badgering the witness. One can only assume the judge does not want to appear biased and is letting this go on much longer than any other case would be allowed this. The problem is: there is no there, there

This isn't a crime to date a fellow work folk. Now,this person has to answer for himself, truthfully. How is this the judge's fault?

I don't know much about this case; however, what I watched so far, the judge seems very fair. If the witness allegedly doesn't want to be honest or playing games; it's not the Judges fault. The Judge continues to let the State question the witness above the Defense objection. There are *BAD CORRUPT JUDGES* in the Court system..this Judge does not appear to be one in my observation and opinion.

What testimony changed?

He was singing like bird, telling it all, but now 30 days later he doesn't know anything... he's either paid off or threatened..

And after speaking to the judge, obviously, he knows because the judge told him he has to testify, and he still gets up there and lies, and then the judge wants to overrule the defense. If the judge knows the truth, how can you get up there and lie this is crazy.

The judge probably coached him on what to not remember and how to avoid the answer direct questions.

How can he know Wades personal information like when professional went to friendly professional to potential for personal to personal. He already made the statement he does not have the date time place of when Willis and Wade became and actual dating couple versus a professional relationship . If you do not know the facts about this case, Fani Willis used $650,000 of tax payers money to pay Wade (her lover) as an assistant prosecutor and he had never tried a case!! They used a large sum of that money to take lavish vacations! They both deserve prison time! She lied under oath!

Do you tell your attorney “ hey my professional relationship just went to potential date… “ you do t. He cannot know the answers they are asking g. This kind of questioning is exactly how Michael Cohen was imprisoned for perjury. He can estimate the dates but cannot state the dates they are asking g for. Here: what day was the first day you kissed your partner. Date time location. Did you tell your attorney… the answers are I don’t know and no I did not tell my attorney. He will be liable for perjury if he gives testimony he can’t know. It’s just that simple.

For some reason, this tangential trial in the middle of another trial is getting extensive live coverage so I am specifically commenting on this specific video. I have no partisan affiliation and am just analyzing what I observe.

Lots of trials have a back-and-forth of pre-trial motions and hearings, typically nobody cares; they only care about the result.

@@wendigo53 My comment was made in jest - I don't actually want or expect a class action suit to be launched. I thought the hyperbole would make that evident to anyone reading it. Also, I am familiar with how trials usually and unusually operate. I just find this particular exchange grating, which is just my opinion based on my personal experience.
