One of the best black metal project of all time from Poland. Paimon and Inferno are wielders of darkness and destructiveness in what they do. Hail Poland!

Definitely the works on Thunderbolt are one of a kind. Especially Apocalyptic Doom , 2007 record is one of the best material ever released in terms of aggression , composition and vocal performance.

One of my all time favourite albums honestly. The songwriting is great even songs done by Necrosodom and the likes are fantastic. For me it ranks higher then for example Panzer Division by Marduk or Desert Northern Hell by Tsjuder in the realm of serious aggresive and fast paced BM. Also has that occult vibe which I personally like, it sounds at time that Necrosodom is trying to convoke spirits on that record.

Your the absolute best interviewer Jerry always the best bands and the best interviews really appreciate the job you do for us all. It's rare to see anyone interview extreme metal bands with respect and without trying to be all macho just a genuine chat asking proper questions and actually listening to the answers

Great interview. I discovered Thunderbolt over a quarter century ago, and to my ears, Paimon/Skyggen has never lost his severity or gone astray. Each project offers a distinct impact, and none of it feels superfluous, even after all these years.

Surprised by how many comments are giving support to Paimon's old project Thunderbolt. I thought I was the only one who still has interest in it. "Beyond Christianity" and "Black Clouds Over Dark Majesty" were both great releases. But I don't see any comments reflecting his time with Veles!

I still love Veles. It’s a Time Machine for me, as some of these albums didn’t leave my carousel for years. Revisiting them anytime resurrects that nostalgia. Amazing how some music can do that, with losing its potency.

Some Veles stuff is good, some is actually quite crappy or mediocre. Black Hateful Metal doesn't sound very hateful, haha.

Thank You Rauta so much for that interview!!! Thunderbolt was one of the reasons i came into Black Metal. I really like his points of view on some topics! You can hear he is a very intelligent person.

Damn! 😂 You really need to fix these audio issues Jerry.. This interview isn't as bad as some, which are completely unlistenable.. Having said that, the rest of the interview is phenomenal! You're skills as an interviewer are top notch.. I find during interviews, people usually ask the lamest, dumbest questions/ and or ask the same questions as a million others before. Your questions are riveting and often fresh and interesting. Hails to you Jerry, and hail Terrestrial Hospice..🤘🍻

What audio issues? To me this audio is like very clear and audible. Some echo in the air, but the quality is really good to me even tho I'm listening to this on computer speakers. But thanks for the words anyway. Glad you liked the interview overall.

An interesting conversation, Paimon has quite a few good points. I've heard some of his older material, which was very solid, so it is time to give Terrestrial Hospice a proper, focused listen.

Great interview thank you!So if i have well understood, Tortorum is now dead and not just put on hold. Both records+the ep were great. I miss this project as much as i miss Thunderbolt.Of course Terrestrial hospice is amazing.

I used to be in contact with paimon in the early days .I'm thanked on the list of the burning deed of deceit lp.traded cds and stuff . terrestrial hospice is killer along with thunderbolt .
