A lot of people fail to realize that the guy who plays Art the clown is a brilliant actor. It's not easy being funny and disturbing at the same time.

Art makes Pennywise look like a Disney character

What amazes me is that this film has absolutely sky rocketed to fame on such a small tiny budget. Well directed and excellent marketing.

I just love the fact that this movie is going on without the traditional Hollywood camera style, where u can't see anything of what's happening. It looks so simple yet this simplicity is what makes me love it. The actor who plays the clown is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, props to him.

That scene with him smashing the girl into the mirror and she whips around and fights back and his look of shock got me. That’s going to be a badass scene.

I took a chance and bought the Blu ray and I absolutely loved this movie. It's colorful, gorey, creepy and funny woth a solid sound track that gives you bits and pieces for the overall story that Leonne is trying to tell. Can't express enough on how much I love Art and the way David Howard Thornton portrays him. Also the addition of The Pale Little Girl was well done.

The “Sir what are you doing” absolutely sent me into hysterics during this movie, if you have worked retail at night in a city you know how accurate that was LOLLLL

I've been doing VFX in horror for years. Like most horror fans, I'm completely desensitized........until I did the VFX for Terrifier 2. This movie.....holy shit.

I grew up during the golden age of slasher films in the 80s. Every decade since has had films that herald the "return of the slasher" but they never do... until now. Art the Clown is the real deal.

The part where he’s in the laundromat reading the paper and laughing at the story about the family of four being killed in a head-on collision was a nice touch. This character is one of the most deranged horror movie villians ever.

I’ve seen lots of horror movies, conjuring, black phone etc. and they all creeped me out but this genuinely caught my attention when I heard about the women fainting and people talking about how scary it is. After this trailer I was not only horrified but disturbed by the music and action. This is hands down the scariest thing I’ve ever see

Art really is the next big horror icon. It’s about time someone stepped up to take over the next gen throne.

One of the best scenes in modern horror was featured in the first Terrifier movie. I'm referring to the moment in the late-night diner when Arty sits across from the two girls with his big, creepy grin and crazy eyes. This sequel looks like it has much better production values than its predecessor and will be even more of a ride.

Usually the sequel is never better than the original but not in this case. Part 2 blew 1 out the water

David Howard deserves Oscar consideration for his eerie and creepy performance as Art the Clown! Seriously! This is no easy character to portray! For the second time, no less!

This movie was a breath of fresh air. It's funny that a silly horror/comedy about a murderous clown has more heart to it than all the big budget studio productions combined nowadays. Also, Art the clown is such a great character. I like him because just like me he always smiles and stays positive, no matter the circumstances :D.

Dużo ludzi mówi że nie jest straszny. Ja powiem że jest niesamowity. Aktor który gra klauna jest bardzo utalentowany bo w scenach w których nie zabija jest śmieszny na swój sposób. W tych bardziej brutalnych potrafi przerazić. Film po prostu był dobry niezależnie od tego czy ktoś boi się krwi czy nie. Postać Arta The Clowna jest wyjątkowa i jedyna w swoim rodzaju. Niezależnie od tego co mówią inni, to jeden z lepszych horrorów i wciąż mój ulubiony.

Glad it's getting a theatrical run. We haven't really had a legit old school style serialized horror villain like we did in the 70's-90's in the past 20 years or so, so Art is very welcome. Jigsaw only sort of counts (technically the character was only a main character in three of the Saw entries with cameos in others), Japan had Sadako, Kayako and Tomie, and there were some ghost franchises with recurring specters that weren't exactly personalities like Art and the classics. I hope when/if they do a third (technically fourth when you count All Hallows' Eve) entry it's shot in 16mm. I know film isn't as easy to work with as digital, but the results are worth it, it's more tactile and grimier and filters just don't feel the same.

I'm SO glad they made a sequel. Just shows how good the reception was on the first. I think this character has a lot of potential so much so that it's already becoming a cult classic.

Fucking LOVED terrifier. It had those classic slasher vibes with a villain who is genuinely terrifying. The gore and tension was top notch. Safe to say im excited for the sequel.

I love the part where Art said “Nah, Jit Trippin.” It really sends chills down my spine. I am at the edge of my seat.

I watched this movie recently to see what all the fuss was about... the gore effects and overall use of practical effects is absolute ace and Ally's death scene is fucking BRUUUUUUUTAL, but the problem is there's WAY TOO MUCH focus on the gore and not enough on the plot.... If it had a well written plot with a bit more character development to go with the tremendously good use of practical effects it really would be the perfect horror movie.. not to mention horror sequel..

I'm a big fan of 80s, early 90s horror movies and this film captures that era. I loved this film can't wait to watch the first one now.

I recently watched Terrifier 2. It was fun. I have loved Art the clown for years and I am glad he received a second coming. The most "shocking" thing for me was that the horn he buys was $8.99. I was expecting $4 or there abouts. Anyway... I think we found the next character that needs a mortal Kombat appearance.

Art the Clown is the best thing to happen to the horror genre in a long time. I really lost interest in horror for a long time. Art is like the new Freddy Krueger, scary, disturbing and funny all wrapped up in some demented fun. Art's expression's speak louder than words. Hat's off to Art the Clown and the creator's of this wonderful horror franchise. Hoping to see more Terrifier movie's in the near future. Been waiting for this one for awhile now. Going to watch it again with my son today. He's 15 and like most kids his age love's horror movies. I turned him on to some of the classics like, hell raiser, phantasm, the hills have eyes, and the first two Art the Clown movie's. If you're a horror fan this I highly recommend watching.

I’ve seen all three hostel movies and I thought lornas kill scene in hostel two was the most deranged thing I’d ever seen, boy was I wrong Allies kill scene almost made me sick,and I consider myself to be a heavyweight when it comes to sick,twisted, disturbing,fucked up horror/slasher flicks. T2 is definitely worth a look . You’ve been warned.

Just watched this movie and it is amazing honestly, yeah sure, it is mostly gore and gruesome murders but there's a charm to it at the end. I can see why some people felt like vomiting at some point as well, it isn't for everyone wether because you're not into this kind of stuff, you've consumed so much of gore in real life or you're not impressed by the effects but Idk, there's an aesthetic to it that appeals to me, loved it more than any other horror film released in recent years.

I remember first watching the Terrifier after pulling an all-nighter and the sheer *GORE* and bone-shaking suspense his grin gave me made me love the movie. Can’t wait to watch this !

There's a prolonged scene, about one hour into the film.... If you can get through that, you're gonna be fine.

1 and 2 are some of the best horror movies imo this was so badass. The music loaded with retro synthwave and everything else this a instant classic

i watched the first movie way before it was on Netflix, and I honestly like how it's still having that feeling of it looking like a homemade film but in a good way. That makes the movie feel realistic. Like if it's happening in real life. I hope they keep the next movies just like that. I'm about to watch this one.

Battle in the bathroom looks crazy!

I literally JUST watched this movie and I have a new favorite slasher... I came into this blind, I hadn't seen Terrifier or All Hallows Eve or any of the shorts... But does it matter? This movie fuckin rules, Art The Clown is my new hero. David Howard Thornton is fantastic, very much made for the role like Robert Englund was made to play Freddy Krueger... More sequels, please! Keep em coming!!! My favorite scene is when he's giving out candy to the kids out of that dude's head... "Eww, why is mine so sticky?" Lmfao!

I watched both first and second movie in a day. I have to say that I’m traumatized for life and haven’t been able to sleep for days lmao but that’s *AWESOME* . Also, for a low-budget movie it’s definitely worth it !!

I'm surprised more people are not talking about how fucking badass that fight scene between the heroine and art looks. And the fact that she's in a angel or Valkyrie get up really seals the iconic factor. Like art looked a little taken a back/shook someone could even maybe take him😂💀

I do dig how much character David Howard Thornton gives to someone who's silent. Like it's hard to give a memorable performance as someone who has no lines and it's kinda creepier because he doesn't hide behind a mask. Even though I guess in a sense a clown is akin to a mask.

Probably my most anticipated movie over the past couple years. Now if only we could get a “Creep 3”.

Art The Clown is the cure for what modern horror has become as a genre and I'd even stretch it further to say it will catalyze the next era of movie making in general. It's raw, unfiltered and more importantly is loaded with practical effects and might even be void of CGI all together. Historically speaking from the standpoint of movies horror is always a primary foundation to the status of movie making as a whole and it's a genre that challenges directors through the full range. When you have a strong radical horror genre all other genres typically benefit from the movie goers interest and they become more compelling.

This movie made me feel like I was at home. The clown looks like my sister every morning when she wakes up. Which makes it more scary.

Terrifier is the modern slasher that I wouldn’t mind part III, IV, V etc. just like old slasher films.

Dude as much as I adored the Halloween films growing up (I'm 40 now) and always will, I am more excited for this than I am for Halloween Ends. This is going to be so, SO awesome.
