Last one for Damian Leone There is a chance different directors can make their own terrifier. Like nightmare on elm street Wes Craven didn't make every one only the first one but it has 6-7 entries
Ha ha! I love when you leave the cinema and head back home. 😂🤣👌🏻 So happy that you enjoyed it and that you think it’s the best yet. I’m hoping to see it soon. Been hyped for this as soon as it was announced. It’s great what Damien has achieved with this franchise. And look forward to seeing where it will go. Have you seen the short films and feature length film where Art started out? I’m sure they are on RU-vid. The feature length one is called All Hallows’ Eve if you haven’t seen or heard of it. But you know your stuff so I’m sure you will know about it. Anyway awesome video as always dude! Till the next one, take care and all the best!
It's funny you play yacked because I read a story about David Howarc Thornton yacked for real after shooting one of the scenes. Apparently, one of the goriest, most disturbing scenes. I absolutely love the first 2 Terrifier movies. I don't go to theaters anymore because of my anxiety issues, so I'll have to wait until 3 hits streaming.
I lost a bet with my nieces and have to take them on Sunday! I forced myself to watch the first two movies. I can say I feel like the 1st movie was waaaaaay scarier than the 2nd one. It actually took me like 2 days to finish 🤣 we shall see how this one goes 😬 Mind you I watched the movies on my phone, with the volume as low as I could get it with hearing everything going on 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Brandonald someone put it on RU-vid and I watched it. It was sooooooo brutal lol in my opinion scarier than the bedroom scene - but I also have a fear of chainsaws 🥲
I saw Terrifier 3 at Beyondfest for the west coast premier. I really enjoy watching this series with the crowd. We come for the gore and stay for the expanded mythos. Art can have you laughing one moment and then just have you squirm during the kills.
I went to the Aussie premiere last Saturday night as part of Monster Fest at Burwood cinemas. Miranda cinema is usually my local too, and I would have went to it tonight but couldn’t resist going to the premiere on Saturday.
I predict with Terrifier's success they wil eventually "hollywood" Art the clown. It will get a bigger budget, a shorter run time and less gore until the franchise becomes a joke.
Terrifier 3 was actually offered to be picked up by major studios due to the success of Terrifier 2. But they turned it down because they didn't want to censor Art and the story they were telling. You don't have to worry about censorship any time soon or major film studios ruining the franchise.
Game gore and gore that is intentionally designed to replicate the human body by being as realistic as possible is completely different than being able to control a character. So no, not really a walk in the park for some people.
After I finished the movie and walked out of the cinema, there were these cute little kids, happy af, who must have been coming out of a wild robot or something.
I think this franchise would be nothing more than a schlocky, generic slasher film series were it not for DHT. He brings the amazing range of subtle to completely over-the-top reactions to his performance. Especially when you compare his work as “Art” to the original film (not t o bag on the first guy…he was great.). Also, the choice to make Art mute, is a wise and clever choice, as we the viewer, get to add whatever idea and dialogue we want. It’s a brilliant concept.
@@bluewafflehunterimmortal9447are these the same guys who did the movie with that magician clown guy? He gets angry and kills if people don't hand out candy on Halloween...can't remember what it's called, I know there are RU-vidr reactions to it as it's not a full length movie
I find it crazy little girls were dressing up as the pale girl at conventions this year...im like dude, you let your kid watch terrfier one and two? I didnt get to see any hardcore horror until i was 14 lol.
some of the critics gave it such bad scores when it sounds really good 💀 i think the franchise is really good but its gotten to the point where its too gory to the point you know its fake
I watched the first two films. I just think they are poor excuses for horror. A desperate attempt at making a new franchise about a 50lbs soaking wet, malnourished clown. Slaughter porn, testing audiences gag reflex. There's nothing horror about it; A glorified student film, with little to no narrative or investment in any of the characters. I had more empathy for the characters and villains in Winnue The Pooh Blood and Honey ffs.
theres actually more than 2 films. the franchise has existed since 2008 with the first short film being the 9th circle. terrifier (2016) is also a short film! (idk wtf im yapping abt ngl.) your right though but its not only with this franchise. all franchises have been adding porn and stuff for no reason. terrifier is overly gorey to the point you know its fake. its got no character development. only kills
I think this is short sighted. To me, other horror films are lazy excuses for horror... cheap loud sound jump scares, music jump scares, lack of tension. I agree the terrifier movies aren't "scary". But it is somewhat terrifying imagining yourself in the movie, which i don't get from other horror movies. Also, the gore is what makes it scarier than other movies imo. Its over the top and pushes the boundary a bit, which no one else seems to want to do. Also. And probably the biggest point I can make. Its all practical effects... which is very commendable. No cgi whatsoever. No corners cut. Its the main reason I really appreciate these movies.
Or people who enjoy practical effects, bold and new storytelling for horror, or maybe just Art the Clown himself as he is genuinely an entertaining character. You can have your opinion, but some people genuinely enjoy this new field of horror because it's something fresh and shocking, unlike the other modern horror films that can be seen as overused. Terrifier is meant for a VERY specific audience, but if you can find enjoyment in it, that doesn't make you a psychopath. Have some fun and enjoy the thrill of being sick from the stomach.
to me this is such overrated trash... don't understand the hype at all . and those "reports" about people fainting and throwing up😂😂😂 like with second one..what bs
Most of the reviewers are fan boys hyping this movie up because they need their likes. I only came across a few RU-vidrs, who had the balls to call the franchise for what it is.
I think people take it too seriously... just go in and don't take the story seriously and its actually a good horror movie. Coming from a huge horror fan here. I genuinely appreciate the practical effects. Hard to get that in movies now.
Not only is it overrated. It's actually quite concerning to me. Even as someone who grew up in the age of practical effects, and appreciates them for all they are... The unneccesary hyperviolence, and how much people are claiming to love it, is truly concerning to me. Aside from that, the story is just absolute garbage.
