My name is Eric and I travel with my cats, “Jax” & “Tara” in a 2012 Coachmen Mirada 32BH Class A Motorhome on a Ford Super Duty truck chassis. (V10 Triton) We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round since 2010. I tow a 2014 Smart Car. Car is NOT electric - it’s gas and gets 37mph. Did you delete the negative comments about boondocking? After you gave the definition you were immediately next to a bathroom while signing in. Wanted to see if the negative comments were about not boondocking if there's a bathroom. Like the coke hat, Pepsi is horrible.

Be careful Eric! I scraped the guardrail on Chuckanut Drive going to Larabee State Park in Washington and am stuck waiting for parts. Stairs, door, front edge, even my exhaust all got dinged by a 5-second scrape on the stone wall / guard rail going to Larabee State Park. OUCH.

Do you have a door on your bedroom? Couldn’t you keep Tara and/or Ajax in there when you go out your RV to keep them safe? That’s what I had planned and why we purchased an RV with a door on the bedroom. Greeting from beautiful Ocean Shores, Washington.

I dont really care when it comes to arguing over exact definitions. Since you said to google it, I did for the fun of it. Everything that popped up when I googled it specifically says it has to be public land. It says campgrounds, regardless of hookups, do not qualify as boondocking. But it also said theres really no true definition, so it's whatever you want to make it.😀

Just went magnet fishing for the first time I found a decent pocket knife. But my buddy pulled out a nice fishing rod and real he caught the hook and pulled in the pole by the string

Very beautiful campground! Nice that it’s so small. I noticed there are trash cans which begs the question, why the hell did someone just leave their trash lying on the ground. It’s people like that, that ruins it for everyone. Makes me mad!

Yep....boondocking is what it is where ever you go completely off of water, sewer and electric! I chuckle over the dif words used today! When I was a kid a Camper was on a pick up, a travel trailer you travel with and camped and a motor home was a motorized driven Class A or Class C.

Somewhere I haven't been...That is only 1 1/2 hours from me...I think I will take a drive today and just explore the area...Thanks..*Update* We took the drive today..Campground is nice, but hubby said restroom was nasty...Feces everywhere and mosquitoes really bad in the mens room... The way GPS took us was lots of gravel roads ...I didn't mind since I wasn't driving my truck...Definitely low branches on the gravel roads...I still ended up where I knew where I was...I love getting lost...Lol..

Try Fernwood State Forest about 15-20 min down the road. The campground is Hidden Hollow. 22 sites, all free, and LOTS of nice shade and you can still get your dish tv lol Beautiful little gem for a boondocker.

I am so over steep grades. I just burned up my brakes in the Ozarks of Arkansas. Over $2600 later, my RV is still not quite braking right. It is a lovely campground. I am looking for your kayak video. Are you still loving it?

My understanding is that "Dry Camping" is camping without hookups at a developed campground and "Boondocking: is camping without hookups outside of a developed campground. In this case the distinction is not the hookups but if the campground is developed. In this case it has a name, sites and a common bathroom so I would say you are "Dry Camping".

Magnet fishing is fine as long as you understand the etiquette and possible laws governing it. I know in the Ohio river once you pull something out it becomes your problem to deal with. You can't just pitch an unwanted item back in. It's your responsibility to dispose of it properly. If you throw it back in you are dumping/littering.

I got my magnet stuck to a gaurdrail the other day and it took 3 of us to get it off I didn't think we would get it off with out using the truck for a min lol mines from Brute aswell I love it I think mines 1700lbs if im not mistaken

I actually live like15 minutes from there in cadiz ,Oh ..You were only a few miles from another camp ground in harrison forrest call trailriders set up for horse and family camping just like the one you stayed at but flat and bigger more sites usually where i go ..i ve camped at both also have a couple videos about it...thanks for sharing i just found your channel and subbed ya

Your too funny and we love ya. I have the exact same dark mark on my 1995 toilet seat ! My only problem I have with the Telford is it is to low and doesn't sit on a pedestal. Because of the door I don't think I can get a larger toilet. Oh yeah I have the same carpet in the bathroom too.

A great deal of that part of Ohio was once a coal strip mining area. So finding metal tools and hardware at the bottom of the lake is probably pretty common. I hope that you enjoyed your visit to the Buckeye State, and will travel through our state again.

I was sad to hear that you decided not to travel into the north east but, yes, it is not the optimal time of year to do that. Peek of fall foliage is in October which is when my birthday is and my second favorite time of year in Pittsburgh. The first is the crisp cool air in spring. A text from your pets was hilarious!
