Holy crap...Abdullah & the Sheik's intro music: Pink Floyd - One of These Days. Only lyric: One of these days, I'm going to cut you into little pieces. LMFAO
Don Julio has a great comment about Sheik and Abdullah. They were a disgrace to the business. That was their job and they did it beautifully!! In particular, Ed Farhat, aka "the sheik ," had more showmanship and entertainment skill than any professional wrestler in history. BAR NONE!! He redefined and expanded the concept of the heavy. The man everyone came to see, to hopefully watch him, have his ass handed to him!! What an arsenal of tricks and weapons he had at his disposal. From sticks to pencils. Even a portable fire starter. Or whatever it was!! Notice how the crowds are even larger in Japan than in the United States. The Sheik had a near deified persona in the land of the rising sun. Wrestling became the multi-billion dollar industry it is due to his despicable antics. As a native of his hometown Lansing, Michigan, i am proud that Edward George Farhat became the anti hero of all anti heros. It was all in fun. And no one ever created more fun for the fans watching. And no one ever will.
Dory looks so much younger with the buzz cut ✂️. I never understood why he grew his hair so long with that little patch of hair dangling down his forehead 😂. I have same balding pattern as Dory😢. But i keep it really short, 😅 comb over stopped working 10 years ago😅
The sheik 😂 was the drizzling sh*ts,lol. He couldn't bump at all, his offense was horrible 😊. But that Bowling Number 2 pencil wrapped in athletic tape and a piece of a double edge razor made him a worldwide recognized "athlete"
I was looking for this exact comment , thank you for saying what I was thinking , I heard so much about how great the sheik was as a wrestler and all he did was look like a complete idiot
