This was one of Norris's many great performances. This is the kind of performance that made Norris's reign as champion so dominant and exciting!

The commentators must have been on acid constantly reminding people on how to distinguish the white trunks instead of just saying Terry Norris has the T N on the front of his trunks hahaha

Norris was such a dirty fighter. I guess it’s possible he already had brain damage but he absolutely had no moral code. Hitting guys when they were down hitting after the bell you name it he did it. Once or twice might be acceptable but as many times as he did?? Dierdorf was right it was intentional after Round 3.

I don`t know what fight you were watching. Norris at 24 years old didn`t have any brain damage and brain damage does not make you fight dirty. This was Norris at his very best. He even once told me we saw his killer instincts in this fight. He was an animal.

@@amck72 Brain damage doesn’t make you a dirty fighter? Maybe. But brain damage alters your behavior and in some cases illogical and aggressive. And I said it was possible that at this point he may have already had brain damage. There’s no way of proving it but he definitely has brain damage now. At this point in his career he had over 30 fights in and he had already been knocked out brutally by Julian Jackson. He also had already had one of his 3 disqualification loses and had exhibited numerous questionable actions in the ring. By all accounts brain damage is caused when a slightly damaged brain continuously moves around in brain fluid and slams against the front back and sides of your skull. A one shot knockout is actually less damaging than tanking many less damaging blows. The main cause of brain damage and injury in boxers is sustained while sparring. The headgear protects you enough so you brain slams around inside your skull. The sparring and fights that Norris had done up until this point in his career was significant and it had definitely contributed to his brain injuries. His career is more then halfway done at this point and if you’re a fan of Terry Norris, which I am, you know that Norris had eaten some serious punches that rocked him in fights. In one of those fights he was unable to continue but in some others he fought like a warrior and overcame his chin issue. So you spoke to Terry Norris before and he attributes his dirty tactics as his "killer instincts"? You think he would admit that that he was dirty?? That’s pretty naive and more importantly wrong. There were many guys that had the killer instinct that were animals that didn’t punch after the bell or when they were down. That’s kind of a fanboy statement.

@@jrayner21679 dude I'm not reading all of that. ✌️ Bottom line is Norris showed zero symptoms of brain damage in the prime of his career. So what if Jackson Ko'ed him ? Julian knocked almost everyone out. I already said in here that most brain damage is due to sparring. 😅

@@amck72 What is it with people with the inability to read? is it that hard for you to concentrate? If you’re going to make comments you should give people the respect of reading what they have to say. I know what I’m talking about. bottom line you can’t clarify someone’s brain damage in two sentences or less.

Terry had bad emotions in the ring. He often lost control of himself. He had a very good skill set. Maybe a light chin. If he could have stayed disciplined he would have had a better career. Sad. Those knockouts really hurt his brains. He was a little what we call today neurodiverse.

Do you see the fluidity of Norris? Look at his footwork, speed, power, AAAAAAND how he commits his body!!!! THAT’S what greatness is!!!! Fighters since 2002, even Floyd Jr., they don’t fight like this NOR have they fought the kind of competition like in the 80’s and 90’s!!!! No way in hell!!!!

@@dougsmuaythai did you see him watch his sparring vs his brother ? How was his sparring seasons ? Heavyweight Jeremy Williams said a few weeks ago in a live chat with Norris that when they sparred when Williams was a 175 pound top amateur that Norris beat the crap out of him lol.

@@amck72 I sure did. I saw Orlin Norris spar with Alex Garcia, Ramzi Hassan and James Kitchen. Alex Garcia trainer there a few times in 1992. It was like watching ppv every day at Murphs Gym in San Diego. Abel Sanchez got fired however, for allegedly stealing from Terry Norris.

Norris is Spence's favorite fighter. Norris had faster feet and hands over Spence. Norris was also a better combination puncher. They are both excellent counter punchers. Spence is a better body puncher, has a sturdier chin and is better defensively on the inside. I'd say Spence is stronger than Norris but not a bigger puncher. Norris's speed allowed him to catch and hurt his opponents off guard, Spence is more of a bruising puncher like Hagler. Finally, Spence's career and training are better since he is carefully guided with a great trainer and he has great camps. Norris used to have brutal camps, sparring heavily and shortening his career which ultimately resulted in his current sad condition.
