For me, Silver's absence in the first part, though expected, was a huge takeaway. He is such a dynamic character and to say he elevated the last two seasons would be an understatement. Kreese and Kim Da-Un simply don't have the presence as villains that he commands. I'm sure we'll see Silver in pts. II and III and looking forward to how his story arc unfolds.

And did he plant the Miyagi story to completely unbalance Daniel? He knows his way around the house as seen in KK3.

I've seen an interview with Martin Kove who plays Kreese and he says that Kreese gets his revenge on Silver in one of the next parts of Season 6 possibly in part 3 🙂🙂

Silver is my favorite character too and i think he is still pull the strings behind Cobra Kai. I mean, how else John Kreese is able to travel and move around anything if not Silver helping him. Since Silver has the power to bribe and corrupt situations, he kept Kreese out of jail and probably let him travel with one of his private jets...If he appears with the final 2 fighters for the Cobra Kai dojo at the Sekai Taikai, it would be awesome (for me) and off course win the tournament. Defeat does not exist in our dojo..!

Silvers definitely gonna recruit Kenny because it felt like Silver was kind of the father figure to Kenny since his dad was away on tour

-Terry WILL return with Kenny & team in tow to the Sekai T. -Kreese will eventually set Terry up somehow -Kreese will probably die after falling on the sword(so to speak) for Tory/Johnny -Silver burning down the Furniture store seemed so out of left field…and was a convenient plot device to get Mike PO’ed but never made much sense…What if Mike set the blaze himself to collect Insurance because he was about to go under…we saw him steal Rebrandt after all… Kim didn’t seem that surprised that: Johnny, Chozen and Mike showed up…maybe it was Mike’s job to draw them out…and he was in cahoots with Kim or even Terry….or plot-twist:Kreese…all along. It’s not likely…but it would more interesting than what they have done with Mike thusfar.

There’s unfinished business between Kreese and Silver. There’s no way he’s not coming back.

If IMDB is to be believed, Silver appears in at least three episodes of the second part of season 6. The characters' dialogues (including Amanda, who says 'unless he gets away' when Daniel mentions Silver) could be a message from the creators to the audience that Silver might still show up. I might be wrong, but it seems absurd to me that Silver would just disappear like that. He might not play a significant role in the universe anymore, but I think he will still appear and cause some trouble

Love this podcast. I agree completely. It is highly likely that Silver bought his way out of jail a long time ago. Having him surprisingly turn up at the Sekai Tekai with a team of beasts of his own, maybe from a country other than the USA (which he would have also "bought" his way into, since he technically missed the qualifying date) would be a satisfying end to this series. Since he and John Kreese are now mortal enemies, I could see the two septuagenarians duke it out, one-on-one, maybe with letal weapons, reminiscent of how Silver battled Chozen in S5, with one or both dying FR as a result of the fight (there was foreshadowing in S6 Part 1 that sometimes combatants die during this tournament.) Can't hardly wait!💝

I agree! But I have a feeling that Silver will show up at the end of the second part, episode 10...The third part will be about Silver v.s Kreese. Revenge time!

Silver gets out recruits kenny and shaun. They go after miyagi do in california. With all the senseis gone overseas he works on destroying those left behind with kenny focused on anthony. Then barnes finds out and goes to help out miyagi do and try and get his revenge on silver.

4:42 Actually just to point out Silver on KK3 was getting revenge for his buddy Kreese by doing what he was doing to Daniel. The whole prolonging of Daniel vs Barnes wasn’t just to continue the psychological crushing of Daniel for Terry’s pleasure but also to torture Daniel in front of Kreese who was also there so that Kreese could revel in the revenge for what he suffered in KK1/beginning of KK2.

I agree with Mike Barnes fighting Silver although the fight between him and Johnny was good he still took an L we need to see Mike Barnes take a victory. But also I saw an interview with Sean Kanan and he was asked if he was gonna be in Part Two and he responded by saying out of respect of the show he won’t say and he went on to hint that he wasn’t gonna be in it. I forgot what podcast/show he said this on.

Prediction: Silver kills his sensai (old guy), and takes over

Forgive me for the long theory))) An unremarkable dojo will participate in the tournament. It will lose to Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do, but will win other no-name dojos and thus, will come out in the top three. Their sensei will be Colonel Dugan. At some point in the competition, the organizers will come out and accuse Dugan of cheating, they will demand the real name of the dojo from him. If he refuses, he will be disqualified. Dugan will apologize, ask for a break and send the students to change. After a while, the students will come out in black cloaks. Then they will throw them off and find themselves in silver kimanos, after which the karatekas will turn their backs and there will be written "Quicksilver" . Then, to the composition "Quicksilver-Ameno" (Or a mix of Quicksilver-Ameno + Bill Conty-Terri Silver theme) Dugan and Terry Silver will come out))). (By this time, Silver will already be out of prison) How will Silver find Dugan? Perhaps Terry will start acting from prison. Terry will have a new plan, according to which he (or his lawyer, Mr. Cole) will look for a bad coach and stumble upon an article about Dugan (a similar scene was in "TKK 3", when Silver read a newspaper article about Mike Barnes"). In this article, Dugan will probably be fired from school, under pressure from students and their parents (forgive me for the inaccuracies, I have not watched "TKK4"). Silver will use Dugan as a fake sensei-puppet. Dugan will agree to cooperate with Silver, because of the desire for revenge on Mr. Miyagi. Dugan will be the formal head coach and owner of the dojo, he will willingly give interviews to journalists, there will be show/advertisement training on camera. In fact, the coach in the dojo will be Terry himself and other hired coaches. Perhaps we will be shown other points of the "Quicksilver" technique . Terry's final plan: participation and victory in the tournament-"Sekai Takai".

People need to remember. If Kreese was able to cause trouble while in prison and escaped then Terry Silver will too. Terry Silver was able to avoid being arrested for years when he had his toxic waste dealings in Karate Kid 3 cause he bribed people. Terry also isnt one to get arrested without forming a back up plan. Meaning if he did get caught he has the mind and smarts and planning to get out and resume his revenge like ways. Plus Silver is more known. He could easily get out of bribing referees and assault on stingray if the evidence was to vanish. And with the people in season 5 who worked with Silver they could do that for him. And evidence vanishes and Silver walks free.

Heck yeah, we definitely will see Terry Silver again, I like Terry Silver, I hate Kreese.

I hope Silver reconciles with Kreese after Kreese gets his revenge on him because it would be interesting to see these two fight again as friends

Once you go Silver, there’s no going back. He’s 100% coming for revenge, not to forget there’s unfinished business between him and Kreese. Silver is WAY too good of a villain not to have in the final season. As much as I love Kreese, Silver is tons better imo… “AzZaaaaaah!!!” 🙏

I still think we are in for some connection to the next karate kid. Maybe silver and Dugan cook up some scheme. I also think there’s history between Miyagi and Kim. Both from the same area, we know Miyagi had come connection to ST. Maybe be framed him. Who knows. All this is going to come together brilliantly!

The only way forward for Silver is indeed his own Team called Quick Silver Karate. Kenny and Payne will be on his team including other world champions possibly even someone hired like Mike Barnes was. Supposedly Mike Barnes can eventually mentor this kid eventually. Another thing is Silver could end up causing a rift in Cobra Kai making them fall from within like Daniel and Johnny did in Season Four. I can see Silver teaming up with Johnny and Daniel to defeat Kreese and Kim Sung Un, of course ultimately for his own interest. For the sake yeah, Silver could bribe the judges but I think he'd get off with mental instability because he was being manipulated by someone to grave his trauma out and Johnny, Mike and Chosen all trespassed. Also Sting Ray changed his story making him look untrustworthy in court. Boom Silver gets out easily. Since Kreese and Silver cant mend their friendship it ultimately destroys Cobra Kai.

There was an interview with Martin Kove about kreese’s character arc this season and he literally says “He deals with terry silver” don’t know if he was supposed to say that😂 but that sort of confirms silver will be back and I think we are going to get a silver and kreese fight

I think they made it pretty clear that Silvers reputation is forever tarnished. I don't think he's coming back with a fully fledged dojo. I do see him showing up after Kreese wins the tournament. Something crazy is gonna happen and they're both gonna die probably. I hate how Johnny is fighing for Miyagi Do and working for Larusso. He should've gotten his old dojo back and have Miguel, Robby, Hawk, Devon, even Tory and Kenny. Imagine if it was American Cobra Kai with honor vs Kreeses No Mercy Cobra Kai. Makes more sense too to have Johnnys Cobra Kai with Miyagi elements. But to infuse this Eagle Fang garbage into Miyagi Do... It's so stupid. It ruins Johnnys legacy and Miyagis.

Well i saw he grew his hai back again so that should confirm he will be back 100% but we shall see. I bought the movie Excessive Force with Thomas Ian Griffith on dvd not too long ago cheap on ebay,its too bad he was gonna be the next Steven Seagal but it just didnt take off.

My theory Terry silver returns with his new dojo at the karate tournament called "Quick Silver Karate" Dimitri dies at the hands of Kwon Johnny Lawrence reforms the American Cobra kai at the world tournament Chozen and Kreese have a fight Dre Parker and Cheng from the 2010 movie are in the tournament but just haven't been shown yet. (I say all this because Brandon lee the guy who plays Kwon follows Zac wang on Instagram which is the dude who played cheng and Zac wang follows brandon lee on Instagram). I also want to add that the new karate kid 🥋 movie coming out in 2025 will have Mr. Han and daniel larusso reprise their roles so therefore the universe's are connected. Miguel wins the tournament and it will be just like season 1.

Terry Silver is a rich man. Everyone should suspect he paid his bail and was out the same night. He's out right now, working in the background. The only question is, did the whole experience turn him away from John Kreese & back to his quiet life? Or is he working in the background rebuilding Cobra Kai? If the 2nd half of Season 6 includes some courtroom drama, expect Silver to turn up with the best attorneys money can buy!

I found myself bored this season with Kreese in the mountains trying to capture a snake.

I wouldn't say that Silver brings in guys that that much better than Mike Barnes from 1987. But, certainly a team of guys just like how M.B. was in KK 3. Imagine a team from around the world of MBs! I like seeing the 3-way struggle. I also like that Cobra Kai from Kim Da un is not about money, but rather honor. Silver was never about honor just money. It is interesting how similar Kreese and Johnny are. I really would have liked to see more redemption for Kreese let Silver be the only 100% villain in this story so to speak. Everyone gets redemption perhaps even the true master of Cobra Kai. I don't like the idea being thrown around that Kreese killed Torie's mother. I really would like to see him redeemed in someway. Come to think of it, I hated to opening to KK2 with him choking Johnny. I hated it. I def could see him giving him some serious negative feedback, but choking, too much for what I saw the character as. (Though not too far off)

I like your theory but I feel like writers closed Silvers arc in a satisfying way. It also saves them money not having to bring back the actor. I found out from watching behind Sopranos they would close out arcs in order to save money for other actors. But either way the way they ended his story seemed satisfying. It was attempted murder with witnesses.

I really enjoy this show but so far this season has been whatever for me. Granted we’re only 5 shows in. Hopefully the other half of season 6 will be better. Anyways I’ve always been Team Tory so I’m looking forward to seeing her kick some ass.
