Tesgo Fat Tire Folding Ebike Review! The Tesgo Strength 1000w Ebike is one of the most powerful ebikes I have. It has plenty of power a 48v 15AH battery and performed great! The Hydraulic brakes on this ebike looks like they should be on a small motorcycle.Check out the Video and let me know what you think in the comments below!

Update as of 9/25/22 one of my Viewers sent me photos of the Tesco STT he purchased and the quality of the welds are no longer smooth and are very pronounced. Not as nice as the bike in this review!

Just received this bike Saturday, after waiting weeks for it to finally be released from back order. Have not had it on the road yet due to the weather here, but first thing I have noticed out of the box is that they are not not producing the same quality of framing that Jeremiah's bike is showing (and that he commented positively on in the video). Welding joints are quite pronounced all over this bike (even the new rear rack looks a bit sloppy and primitive without a bag covering it). Hopefully this will be my only complaint. Super excited otherwise to get out and ride!

@@roypinaki4u I got the silver. Really like the color, but the metallic may accentuate the welding joints more than the black or green would. I have some pics I'd be happy to send over so you can see and judge for yourself. The frame feels sturdy/safe...it is just my expectations of the finishing aesthetics of the bike were a little elevated based on some of the pics and videos I had seen. Don't see your email in your profile here, but feel free to email me (mine is in my profile) or give me yours and I will send some pics.

Just want to remind you all to wear protective gear when you are riding. Helmet, gloves, heavy jacket, jeans and boots. I was hit by a car this week. Old driver who shouldn't have been on the road at all (not putting down old drivers but there needs to be more testing after a certain age - she didn't seem to know where she was.) Things can happen in a second and usually do. Be careful my ebike friends.
@fender1000100

I second that. I may be riding a bike that tops out at 25mph. But I suit up like I am riding a powerful motorbike. With full face helmet. And armoured bomber jacket armoured gloves and armoured pants and biker boots. I was knocked off a bike 3 weeks ago. And aside from slightly bruised ribs I was fine. Had I not had this gear on the outcome would have been very different. As my head and left elbow really made hard contact with the ground. In my case it was a drunk driver. They got arrested. Dont take chances people suit up.

Hate to tell you but you can have the best moto racing gear but not of that will matter when a vehicle runs you over. That gear won’t help you with massive blunt force trauma. It will help you with road rash but everything under all that leather will be grinded up and turned to mush from being crushed.what you need it to take a motorcycle safety course because it will teach you to be aware of your surroundings and situational awareness 100% of the time and help you create escape routes.

Great video, man. I have a Wallke e bike that has that same display. You can change the advanced settings if you hold +/-/power buttons at the same time while the display is turned on, wait till the display reads "OK" in the corner (it will light up the letters OK for a second and then it'll disappear). Go back into advanced settings, and make your changes. Once set, they should stay that way until you switch them back. I honestly wish this bike came out when I bought my Wallke, because the Wallke is HUGE...meant for riders 5'11" and up...I'm 5'8", and it's really hard to reach the ground at a stop. I had no idea, but I wish I had a smaller bike. Don't get me wrong, the Wallke is a great bike, but this one you showed might be easier to ride. Peace. 🐰💙🇺🇲🎸🎶🤝✌️

One thing I like about this bike is the display. It looks very easy to make setting changes Unlike the G-Force display and the other ones that are basically the same thing as the GeForce. I noticed that it also shows the percentage of the battery which is great and I don't think anyone's figured out how to show the percentage on the G-Force bikes or the other bikes that have that type of display.

Again, great review. Just as an FYI, I just purchased the Tesgo STT and Im really happy with the purchase. I dont want this post to come off as being negitive because I love the bike, I just wanted to note some changes Tesgo has made since your review, at least on the one I recieved. So here goes, as you stated in your review this ebike has tons of power and torque for a foldable ebike. I have the Lectric xp 3.0 which Im also happy with but this bike leaves the Lectric in the dust. So here are a few noticeable changes on the Tesgo STT ebike since your review. I thought this may help someone who is considering purchasing this ebike. The display is completely different, the suspension is not adjustable just locked/unlocked, the welds are not smooth like the one you reviewed, which is ok because they are probably stronger when not grinded down. Also, when I received the ebike the front tire had to be installed and air needed to be installed in both tires. There were no instructions on mounting the front tire, which sounds easy but there were washer and part placements that needed to be right for the install. If you install a back basket and you are a short rider, the seat can only be lowered so much before it hits the top basket rail. So I had to take a angle grinder to cut the top of the basket rail off in a small area, to get the seat low enough for my height. Just as an FYI, Im 5' 8" tall. My only disappointment on this bike is the suspension is not adjustable but that is not a deal breaker for me. The display is great, just different than the one you reviewed. I am super happy with the torque and how fast this ebike is and that was my main reason for purchasing this bike, mainly the torque. Again, love your channel great review and I really appreciate all the hard work you have put into these reviews. Keep up the great work. Sorry, this post is so long.

Out of all these folding ebikes that you have tested, which do you like the best (for the $$ or power)? I was going to go with the Lectric but not sure if I care for the 3in tires compared to the 4in.Is the 1.0 or 2.0 better? I like that it has a nice display, 1000W, hydraulic brakes, mag wheels and the welding looked great! Of course I am comparing it to Lectric! @@lickalotlickalot2210 It's a peak 1000w. It uses a 22a controller so 48v battery*22a controller =1056. I have this ebike, lol. It's fine for what it is, but imo learn how to make your own ebike. It's cheaper and you get a wayyyy more powerful bike. I have this ebike, well not this exact one but it's the exact same bike just with a different name. Same controller components everything. The display is locked from the manufacture, it's locked at 29.9mph top speed. 32mph is a lie, they say 32mph because they have the tire size on higher than it should be which gives fake results.

I bought this bike a year ago I love it. It looks like Jeremiah's nice welding. But after about 6 months I had a problem with a battery when battery level reached about 50% the whole power on bike turned off so I could make about half a distance compare to when was new. I sent an email and video to Tesgo seller and they send me a brand new battery under warranty.( Tesgo great service 5 stars) I think there is no speed limiter on this bike do not try to cut any wires nothing will change this bike speed is about 45km/h when battery is full and about 40km/h when battery around 50% but when spinning wheel with no weight it goes to about 52km/h . There is not enough power to reach the max speed 52km/h even with assist . It would be nice if speed was around 60km/h then cars would not have to pass me when ride on a main roads but it is still good. I also change front chainring original was 52T I put 68T now even with 45km/h I can feel pedaling with 52T (ghost pedaling) I had a chance to pedal this bike with no power for about 20km twice It is hard but I still could make it. so it is good to have second battery as a backup. The range on battery is about 50km going on full speed.

Their motor is really 750w that peaks at 1000w. That's why you are only hitting 26 mph. Ariel Rider Kepler's motor is 1000w that peaks at 1800w(like most 1500w motors) and this will get you to 32-34 mph. It also has bigger 52v 20ah battery and is the same price at 1800 bucks. only thing it lacks is folding option.

Hey Jeremy where exactly did you put these felt pads at on the battery and how big were they? Another great video
@JeremiahMcintosh
@JeremiahMcintosh 2 года назад
They are actually pretty thin and I put them on one at a time wherever I Think they will fit without causing the battery to get jammed because you don’t want to have to force it. Typically I like putting at least two small ones in the back corners of the battery on the bottom so when you’re putting it in and out of the frame it helps it sliding smoothly but that’s only when they fit. In this case that is where I put them and I put one in the center upfront on the bottom.

I am looking at folding Ebikes. The one I'm leaning towards is Lectric. The negatives are mechanical brakes and the smaller battery. Also the Sinch by Aventon. The Aventon looks good, but bang for buck is kind of lacking features for the price point. Such as fenders and bike rack. Any suggestions? What is your favorite folding Eike? Thank You Harry
@JeremiahMcintosh
@JeremiahMcintosh 2 года назад
It really depends on what you’re looking for in a bike whether it be TopSpeed, Power, Range etc. In my personal opinion Just between the folding bikes i’ve tested the Lectric is a great value and probably the best bang for the buck while having great customer service but you are correct it is lacking in battery capacity and for that price point you definitely cannot expect hydraulic brakes.The Heybikes have more range Than Lectric but Are a little less powerful and slower. The Tesgo has excellent brakes, pretty good size battery being 15 amp hour and pretty fast with great power. It’s hard to say how their customer service will be but time will tell. I hope this helps but it’s really hard to pick one they all have their benefits over each other it’s really going to come down to what you want in a bike. Also I haven’t had the opportunity to test ride the Aventon sinch but the Aventon Aventure I tested did really well and is a great bike but obviously it’s not folding.

By increase tire size do you mean in the settings or actually putting on larger tires.
