When Model Y gets going in the States, followed by China and then Germany - 2021 will be huge for Tesla. Nikola is ridiculous - a copycat with no product and hopelessly optimistic schemes.
That's of course if the economy was good. Half of Americans are on unemployement. I doubt that any of those unemployed people who can barely pay their rent will be rushing into Tesla dealers to get a Model Y. I hope Tesla doesn't become a big Hype and bubble, because they shook up the automotive industry.

Electric is the definite future and it's almost literally impossible for Tesla to fail since it's sole focus is growth. It doesn't even spend a dime on marketing, it's products sell by themselves through their quality. Model S became car of the year when it was launched and was the single best car in the last 50 years. And Tesla has come a long way since then. They're the only big car company that does not have any debt but a large cash reserve instead! And Tesla is not just a car company. They're also tech and energy company. Their solar roof and home battery tech are second to none and those businesses are projected to become even bigger than their automotive counterpart, they're gonna be competing with oil and other energy companies and will totally destroy them. The stock now has reached 1,200 even before they release their most enticing game changing products and services. Cybertruck, Semi, Roadster 2.0, Tesla mini, and the full self driving capability. They're already the most valuable car company in the entire world now destroying Toyota's decades long dominance. People who still think that Tesla can still fail or that electric might not be the future are complete ignorant morons.

I listened to this because I thought he figured in the S&P 500 on his $2000 price mark up. But he totally lost his credibility with Nikola - can't believe he praised that scam game. Anyway, imagine more than 50 S&P 500 index funds will suddenly buy significant amounts of TSLA shares and hold it long. Zack and Jessie describe it well.

Like most analyst's he did not understand Tesla, however he shows his worth as he has been prepared to learn and start digging deeper, however he still has far more digging to do, it is far bigger with a far wider scope than even he realises. Elon's plans for what became Paypal, just a payments system were far more than just payments, they included all banking services on line - something Square is just doing now. It would have just sucked up all the money from the banking system with instant transactions, payment and approvals
Lots of people are crazy about TESLA stock .. you can make way more money by buying cheap stocks that can get more profit. For example: TESLA before was around $200 per share .. if you bought 1000 shares .. you already spent $200,000 and now $2,000 per share .. the profit is only $10,000. The other stocks (I won't mention), I purchased 10,000 shares and the price per share was only $5 (five dollars), You spent only $50,000 .. now it's jumping to $11 per share in just 2 months You made profit $60,000. See the different? TESLA profit is only $10,000 but you had to spend $200,000 for just 1,000 shares .. while the other stock was only $5 per share and you could buy 10,000 shares and only cost you $50,000 and you made $60,000 just like that in just 2 months. You got my point ?
Historically, upgrades in stock mean you should run and cash out of your TSLA position. This is usually when the big players like to exit. You should buy when the stock is down 30-40%, and when you see lot of downgrades.
On the YT sites that cover Tesla and investment, so many Tesla and their mission's supporters have been buying shares supporting that mission, back at 200 or less with the intent of saving to buy the Tesla they want, so selling some shares, even young investors are going Tesla as their sole investment, if it crashes they are young and can recover

Solar will be pushed for global warming and credits market is huge. Charging network will get monetized. Volume will lower cost of production and increase gross margins. Model Y will be the best selling luxury crossover in history. Model 3 and S continue stable sales. AI and robotaxi network will be monetized at some point. Wireless internet and entertainment to the vehicle is a huge for the installed based via Starlink satellite network (Comcast on Wheels). At some point they make a bicycle, atv, motorcycle, rv or an attachment. Other inventions because I'm not smart enough to forsee potential other revenue streams.

Why would he talk much about financial performance? Tesla is not being valued on its financials, if it were,the stock would be around $300. Tesla has a speculative valuation; it's valued based on its potential as a company to disrupt and innovate and therefore make money over the long term.
At this pace, Tesla will reach $5000 by the end of the this year. It will reach $50000 per share by the end of 2025. All Tesla RU-vidrs will be millionaires.

If Tesla really want to make money, create a Tesla Motorcycle. Too bad Elon Musk is stubborn and wont make one because he almost crashed. That's such a wasted opportunity. He could easily sell Tesla Motorcycles at $16,000, with a 10,000 profit (way more profitable than a car, easier to manufacture). If he sold just 1 million, that's over $10,000,000,000 in profit.
