Here we are seeing the real power struggles being revealed where they are normally hidden through some level of prudence by judges. The lawsuit only claims that Tesla violated some regulation regarding the presentation of shareholder votes. Normally issues like this would be handled via direct negotiations by the state regulators and the company. If the state determines that its regulations have been violated, it does have the option to impose penalties. In this case, the lawyers are taking on the role of enforcing regulations directly. Since nobody was actually harmed by this alleged violation of regulations, the judge should’ve immediately thrown out the case. But she didn’t because this is about power not about laws and playing by the rules.

Let's not forget that some people are apprehensive when it comes to FSD, so level 3 will still be valid for a few years. Just like hybrids are a thing now for people who don't want to go full EV. So GM investing in cruise could be beneficial to them until FSD goes mainstream.

It will likely not happen, but could Cruise license FSD? They could shut down LiDAR development, and drill deeper into their cameras. If a robotaxi company already has cameras on their vehicles, couldn’t they just learn how Tesla has solved perception? Cruise would also benefit from having less power hungry inference requirements and if they ever get to Origin production it would be insanely cheaper if they got rid of all the other perception crap.
Now that Tesla is a Texas corp, maybe there should be a vote to accept the voided package and issue a new package with coincidentally similar terms, requiring Musk to show up at the office, like other CEOs, to meet his obligations to be PAID (options)!
First, he often sleeps on the factory floor at many of the plants. This has been well documented. Second, I think he knows how to allocate his time better than you and me. There is no need, nor would one ever be implemented, for him to be required to show up to work on some sort of schedule.

It’s speculation to assume she’s carrying out Biden’s agenda, though there are good reasons to suspect as much. She probably has an agenda but so does anyone claiming they know her agenda, because we don’t. Could be she hates the rich, wants limits on income, dislikes Elon or Tesla for any number of reasons, thinks it will advance her career, has some under-the-table deal with the law firm or competitors, or is just really stupid or bad at her job.
