Tesla Model 3 ♥ First Time Supercharging! 

Remember that if the car is navigating to a supercharger that it will preheat the battery to help with charging. This won’t happen if you don’t have the supercharger as your destination.

This proved to be informative, as I am actually considering a Model 3 when I get my driver's license back - and there are several Supercharger stations in my area (the closest is eleven miles from my house).

So thank you so much for shooting this video, and posting it to RU-vid, I absolutely love your presentation, and I think you’re a natural, and I hope folks who are watching your video learns how simple it is to own, and operate a Tesla vehicle! So I have been driving my Tesla now for about 3 years, and I am super satisfied with just about everything, and the fact that we have plug & go charging is genius, and the other guys simply don’t have this yet, and it’s the simplest way of handling the cost transaction of charging your car when you’re away from your home! The other thing that some folks may not know or think about is, when they’re trying to compare electric vehicles, whether it’s a Tesla or some other ICE car is saving the environment, and Tesla‘s mission statement, “is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy” and that’s important, and it makes me feel good to know that I’m doing my part. Now I understand that everybody is not ready to buy an electric vehicle, I understand everyone can’t afford to buy one or they’ve convinced themselves they can’t afford one, and I’m happy to see others finally getting into the EV space, and quite frankly I hope they’re successful, but the one thing I want the audience to know is that if you do not own an electric vehicle, educate yourself before you buy any electric vehicle! So please do yourself a favor, drive a Tesla, make it a point to contact a Tesla rep to set up an appointment where you can actually drive one of these cars, and do that before you purchase any other vehicle, because if you don’t, you may later come to realize that you have made an awful decision, as Tesla does not need to sell cars, as the cars sell themselves, and they have so much demand that they simply cannot fulfill all of the request for their vehicles, but hopefully with 2 more factories coming online this year they will start to produce the CyberTruck, which I know everyone is so excited about, and of course the semi truck, and I hope at least by 2025 they have a car that’s priced lower than what the Model 3 priced today, but even if they don’t, I hope someone else does! Nice Video We Call ours "Faith". Question What are the orange cones mean I see at some stalls at almost every supercharging location? How can you tell the difference between a 75, vs 150, vs 250 Charger visibly?

I went to a supercharging station this morning where there were 8 charging stations. I backed to a random charger, plugged in and nothing happened. No charging, nada. Watched this video and followed it to the tee which was what seemed easy enough. What gives? Did I pick a charger that was broken? Any ideas?

You don't might call it about that is I think that's good for everybody. However, I think that when they're more test was out there especially self-driving Tesla they'll also have to be charged as well. But if I ever do have a Tesla is full self-driving? I'll have to figure out a way to charge it and less than 20 minutes and hopefully be back on the road after I get through charging! But my question is do is I ever did have a Tesla with full self-driving are there going to be any charging stations in shoreline?

When you say "first-time supercharging, " do you mean the first time of the day or the first time ever? I thought they always supercharge your car at the showroom prior to delivery.

So I just got my first Tesla and I Super charged my battery for the first time, I sat there for an additional 15 min thinking to myself; how in hell do I pay for for this I even looked around every station for like a card reader and couldn’t find one…soo I just left. Did I just steal or nah cause I’m highly confused here?

For someone that lives in a city, yes an EV is a great choice (I'm trying to get my wife talked into getting one, lives in Sacramento, drives 20 miles a day for work and rarely drives any long distances) For me an EV is a horrible choice, I work in North Dakota and have a 50 mile drive one way to work. There are no superchargers within 150 miles and to get to any bigger cities is a 300 mile trip!

I see a major problem with superchargers in the future. If everyone owns an electric car. Then there will be a major q at the fast charging station, unlike filling up with fuel you'll have to wait a very long time to get to charge your car

The gas is better you could have fill it up and be done with that it takes about five six to fill it up and it's just about 30 minutes to charge f*** that I'm sticking with the car engine
