ok - How old was this car? I have a red 2022 August 8 delivery - Would a 1 year old car need a cut and polish before coating?

Yes, i would recommend it. Some new cars even have scratches. I would recommend 3D One hybrid polishing compound with a microfiber pad for a one step correction & finish 👌

Nice vid! Am in the UK and have often considered getting my M3 coated, it is nearly 2 years old now - is it too late?

Of course not! Just may require a bit more time and attention during the paint correction phase!

I Never recommend using dawn dish soap on a car UNLESS you are stripping it. Then you can add a little drizzle in to make it super sudsy. And then a splash of degreaser. To maintain it I recommend a PH neutral car shampoo, or slightly alkaline if it’s really dirty.

@@RayNLA the first time you do it will take longer, or if the car is needing more paint correction can take longer than 1 day.

Where was the tutorial for the ceramic coating application? This was more of a prep tutorial.

Not really a tutorial in this video, just watching him wash his car for the most part. The Adam's ceramic process starts at 11:54 but there's not much to see.

That’s the key, it’s all in the prep work. Applying it is as simple as doing a cross hatch pattern, waiting a few minutes, and then buffing it off. We will do another more in depth tutorial!

Do you mind sending a link or telling me which electric buffers (I think that’s the right term) that you used in this video? Was is the purpose of the smaller one? I am assuming for smaller/thinner locations? Also any pad recommendations?
