Now the fastest accelerating model is 2.6 s from 0 to 100 kmph and soon is going to get upgraded to 2.5 s via software. For those still using imperial, that's 0 to 62.1 mph, not 60 mph which is less than 100 kmph and when we're talking about 100 ms, it matters.
I have a friend who has the top spec super ludicrous with every option. Bought it back in 2016. Cost him $300,000. Has the free for life charge package.Has done 220,000 kms and never been back for a service or check up. It's incredible. However his battery life is down from 470 km to 350 km. Eventually will cost $30,000 to replace batteries. Make your own conclusion but if I had the cash to splash. I think i would buy one.
I love this car so much as well and thank God my dad actually brought one yesterday never thought I will have a car like this in my life, work hard and trust me you will never regret it
Me neither. I see myself buying one in 7 years when the battery pack will support only 200 km. Not sure what the socio political implications of that are. The cynic in me sees a return to a more feudal world where travel is a privilege afforded only to the rich. Nah. They say Fusion is only 20 years away...? Luv and Peace.
This car is Ludicrous alright, the price for a P100D in NSW is $306,223. The identical car in the US is $160,750 US - $211,402 AUD Why a difference of $94,821 Tesla? Ridiculous price gouge
Well it isn't really easy to ship a car all the way to Australia now is it. Add to that import duties, shipping insurance and so on and so forth, it adds up.
Combustion engines are running on 100 year technology. There is no comparison to Tesla if it has such old ways of moving forward. There. Is. No. Comparison.
What a dumb "review". Never mind the awkward attempts at humor, but rather his attempt to bash the up-charging. Like when is the last time he visited a BMW or Benz dealership? In addition those just keep keep kicking up the price to astronomical figures.
