I would never, ever, have thought about needing different seat positions for hairstyles. Mind blown. Great example of why it's so important to have a diverse design team.
13:33 Joy is constantly trying to compare this 140k plaid to a 40k Model 3 and Marge was trying to move on with the conversation. She must be so mad..LOL!
I'll send all those truck dudes complaining how they couldn't navigate in a S that have never been in a Tesla or tried the Yoke here to learn from Marge! Thanks for the tour.
Maybe I’m a bit weird, but my favorite things about this video were the center console and finding out that women need more than one driving profile for different outfits and hairstyles. I’m so glad Tesla cares enough to do that for their vehicle owners! Makes me happy to support them.
In 2017 I drove a Model S. It was a pretty box car. The Plaid is a true dream car with forward thinking whistles and bells. I still think an egg under the food during acceleration is best.
What a great owner!! So kind of here going around showing the car. Im sure she generated some sales 👍🏽 Verny nice listening to the both of you! Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Thank you so much for sharing ! Jesus , i love this new UI ( hope well get it with new soft major update in model 3, y ). I was scared about smart shift but if you can handle it manually, it feels safer. Awesome video !
Great video, Thx for sharing Joy. So happy for her & how nice she was for allowing you to record it. Especially for people considering the Model S plaid like myself. ⚡️👍
Love the Plaid, just can't get past the steering wheel. Realizing Tesla is saving money for a half of a steering wheel, is a complete steering wheel available?
Awesome video Joy! Very cool of your friend to share her Model S Plaid for Tesla fans to see, can’t wait for your launch video! I wish I could afford one. You continue to be one of the best and informative channels on all that is Tesla and electric vehicle ownership , keep up the great work and the recognition will keep coming! Glad to be a big fan of you and your channel Joy!
My late model 2016 x had heating and cooling and I'm glad the new ones do bc mine was just totaled. I'm not a fan of the screen which is why I chose the x over 3 and Y but I guess I have no choice. The steering wheel I don't think it will bother me. Getting use to no stalk will be a challenge
Thank you for the great video. I see many things have updated and look futuristic. One thing I still have noticed haven’t change are head rest, still not hugging the head like older models. :(
@@TeslaJoy I feel having a little donut hole to cradle the head while launching would be nice as well, though won't know for sure without testing. Not sure how it'll affect turning.
As a guy who tried to have long hair for 1 year and gave up because of hair loss and heat in summer its definitely not something cars are designed for.
If you guys have the chance to see it charge with a warm battery from 10% on the V3 SC and compare that to a 800v capable DC fast charger. It clearly is capped at 250kW, so more headroom might give it 300kW or more... would be very interesting to see...
i bought the tsla dips & ..i've ordered the tri motor fsd ct & i can't wait for it to get here!! I may buy the S or the Y in the mean time..i got lots of solar & back up battery system as well.
It will be interesting to see if any of these features will trickle down to the model 3/Y. To some extent, they need to keep things exclusive to the S/X to justify the premium price.
To be the 1st 25 did they have to out right purchase the vehicle with no financing? To be able to afford this car you have to have a great job, what does Marge do she seems like a interesting lady.
Yup someone in the Facebook group just shared pics - but those won’t have the plaid color Logo on the back :( , just the word “Plaid”) they shoudlve done it for everyone - make em feel extra
