Well when you have no quality control dept, low quality, happens. people eventually get tired of the same ole low to no quality control from tesla. Got tired of waiting for the Refresh Model Y so got the new Luxrury 3 Lyriq, Wow, Quality upon Quality, Class upon class, and a smooth ride. No Regrets.
They have a few Q.C. issues but most people I know with them have very few issues. Where they shine is with the software. Everything is on the same platform where most legacy automakers have dozens or more different modules from different vendors, each with it's own software that has to be integrated with everything else. Their motors, batteries and chargers are pretty decent too. I wanted a Model S Performance or Plaid if I could find a deal, but between it being toward the top end of what I want to spend, Tesla's lack of cooperation with independent shops (dealer only parts, and no DIY), and the insurance upcharge (because of the repair costs), I decided it was too much for a 12 year old platform that looks like an early 2000s Pontiac Grand Prix outside just because it happens to feel like a roller coaster launch. I'm interested in the Lyric but have heard too many people complaining about them being buggy and problematic. I haven't ruled it out but I am a bit concerned. How long have you had yours and how many miles have you driven? Has it needed any service? The Genesis G70 was also interesting but the limited range was a deal breaker. I need a true 250 mile highway range minimum which eliminates a lot of them but the Lyric seems to have good range.
@@elitecompany1878 I don't think the Lyric is comparable to the M3 or MY. The Lyric is a bigger, cushy luxo-barge with decent, but not crazy performance. The M3/Y are a bit smaller and focus much more on performance than luxury. The Lyric will be quieter and smoother, while the 3/Y will be more fun. I'm just unsure of the Lyric's long term quality and support as GM is not the best at new model rollouts and tends to drag their feet on fixing issues.
I’m in the market for the model X, yes l believe it’s a bit overpriced 🥲 10k overpriced but I’m still going to pull the plug I think 😭 coming from an Audi Q7
