@@JoshBurnsTech dont know yet i like the grey color but red looks good also but the thing that kinda annoys me is the black/dark grey plastic above the wheel. If i receive my model x i will wrap that part 2, to match the color of the whole car Nice video btw!

My biggest problem with Model X 2018 is the front door windows freezing constantly in winter. It's painful to see and hear the icebreakers pushing door out that later are not possible to close because windows do not go down. Preheating helps, but it's not reliable.😢
Love the video!! But also, Maintenance cost in the first 2 years is always low for most cars. That’s why companies give you 2 years of worry free maintenance.

I think he was referring to the oil and regular maintenance - e.g. I used to have a benz and its svc A, B, and Cs were done like every 6 months apart. A was the cheapest and it was like $500. B was more expensive and C the most. I'd say in my first 2 yrs I spent thousands. Lets also not forget brake pad changes every 3 - 4 yrs for another $1000. And transmission oil, timing belt, water pump etc. None of these costs exist on a tesla.

I would personally rather have the X 100%. However, I do really like the Y and think it's an amazing option. The X has a lot of features that the Y doesn't have. It's a little larger (more cargo space and more passengers), has the Falcon wing doors, automatic opening and closing of doors, HEPA air filter, and heated steering wheel. The Model X also has a panoramic windshield that extends over the front row and two smaller sunroofs over the second row to the Model Y's single panoramic sunroof for both rows. But honestly, the first thing that grabbed my attention for the X was the falcon wing doors. They are extremely cool and stand out. If price was identical, I would choose the X every time. I believe there is one, but I'm not 100% sure. I will definitely be sure to check with my accountant when I file taxes next year. lol The first year I got the massive $7,500 tesla tax credit before they got rid of it.

Great review! Love the Model X but am waiting until the mortgage is paid off before buying one and having another payment almost as much as the mortgage. YOLO, but not stupid YOLO. Will have to stick with my 'ol Chevy Volt and Zero SR for now.

Believe it or not I didn’t purchase the model X because of it not having an armrest for my 2 sons that was a deal breaker for me. Thats mandatory for my family.
Query: Have you opened the Falcon winged doors after or during rain. Another video suggests there is a design fault, as there is no “drainage” at the top seal, and water pours onto the seating area, upon opening. What’s your experience?
Good question! Never had that issue personally. I bought mine in December 2018, so it could have been a design flaw that was corrected before then. I’ve had mine open during and after heavy rain but never had that issue.
What maintenance in ICE vehicles? For starters, oil changes is the main one that I’m talking about. Before you say “just change it yourself...” not everyone wants to change their own oil. There’s also way more that can go wrong with ICE vehicles. This is more long term though, since new vehicles come with warranties. So just solely factoring in oil changes, that’s around $250 - $300 based on $40 per oil change. That’s also on the lower end because I’ve had oil changes around $60.
I've actually never heard of that EV, thanks for sharing! Looks like it's predominately in China and may not be available in the US for a while. Looks very promising though. I personally think the Model X design looks better, especially the interior but that's my personal opinion as well. Also looks like the ES8 doesn't have self-driving features. NIO appears to have an autonomous concept car, but nothing in production.
I hope tesla uses AR like the new apple glasses that are coming out for their windows.like if u want u can put on settings to see messages n things around you or even watch movies on ur car windows or even have cool affects.n I hope the dashcam camera comes w better cameraa so they can be used for other things like on a road trip if ur driving on a beautiful mountain or beautiful city u get quality close to the .out expensive phones n cameras.i hope the windows get similar or better features than the Apple glasses.like seeing better in the night etc.n maybe a super computer n connect to all devices n also u can do business or classes like copy and paste n having apps for students and business ,n u can make someone print from ur car n be able to air drop etc.n cheaper n faster maintenance.also I would like to have settings where I may be able to speak w my car wen AI or something gets better n maybe my car can help play games n play the games for me or help me w my work or I can ask questions n get them answered like hey blah blah,do u know any cool restaurants around the area,or where are the best sceneries near me or it tell u events u make like that's going on n introduce u to the most streamed hip songs, also maybe a car selfie mode but idk.also I hope they up the privacy etc.also I'm very big big on inside storage like glove compartments etc bc sometimes I just run out the house with alot of things n that brings me to say I hope everything is waterproof. I also want great weather performance maybe built in solar roof that doesn't stick out.n I hope they let u connect ur control to ur car n play games. Also tell u about flight n other countries n that goes in w wat I already said earlier but anyway that's it for now.i hope it also has good wifi in the car to connect ur phones to
Test drove the model x wasn't impressed , interior is basic and mediocre quality is not there ... tesla is amazing for those looking to save money ,, I say I rather pay and get better all around drive and luxury feel and better car design ... I went with the taycan much better only bad is there's on 4 seats
@@hellobye9905 The article calls it "the best Luxury electric SUV". I have the upgraded interior package and the quality is amazing. It has adaptive suspension that adjust automatically depending on conditions and makes driving really smooth. It has tons of room and all 7 sets are heated. All of my doors are controlled by my key fob and the drivers side door opens automatically as I approach it. My favorite thing about the doors is that I can close the driver's side door by pressing the brake when I get in the car. I also upgraded all the trim to carbon fiber. I'm not even going to list out all the Tech because it would be a massive list, but FSD and Advanced Autopilot are at the top. On long trips driving on the interstate, I get to sit back and chill.

@@hellobye9905 Did you read any of the features that I just wrote? None of them are "made up". In my opinion, it is the best suv due to it being the safest suv in the world, the design features, tesla software, low depreciation, it benefits the environment, and it's low cost of ownership. All of those reasons are why it can be considered the best suv in the world.
