Thanks for the video! Like you, I have always purchased the Tesla all weather mats before for our S,X, and 3, but don’t want to wait for the Y! After looking at lots of brands, I’m going with Tesmanian and will use your code. :)

I'm looking to buy these mats right now, just wondering if they will fit on top of the existing mats or do you have to take those out first?

You should take out the stock mats, there is no reason to have both.

The Tesla model 3 mats have a similar lip. They have new ones now. They had one that has little to no lip and a new one that is much taller they are on the website on the Tesla shop

He Buddy. The Model 3 has some rear trunk bumper protectors. Does the Model Y have these anywhere aftermarket? I can’t find them. BTW, great video on the mats. I bought them.

I never did any Fiat 500e vids. I showed it in a few videos in just talking about our "EV Journey" but never any specific videos on it. It was a lease and was turned in about a year ago.

Two questions: can you place the mats right on top of the carpet without taking it out? And what is the tool like device that you covered up in the front?

I guess you could cover the mats but it would probably not make the mat fit very well. The tool in the front is the tow hook if ever needed.

Virtually none since the carpet mats weigh about the same.

Putting plastic mats into your car is just like covering the carpet of your house with plastic. I wonder if the same people would prefer to have the floor of their cars built with plastic instead of carpet?
