I agree completely. I think he and Bret Michaels are doing the best as far as frontmen from this era that are still performing. Jeff is doing great. And the band is tight as ever.
@@HyperInflation2020 I've been to over 30 concerts... Boston... Their sound was so good live you would have thought the record was playing.. Ted Nugent... Your ears didn't recover for at least 10 days... Pantera.. all I can say is bow down... I never got to see INXS... Was told by many the best live band they had ever seen

Jeff Keith's voice is as durable as Keith Richards' left hand. Don't know how he does it at his age. Not many of his contemporaries can come close. It sounds like he's hurting it, but he never seems to. Great band, awesome track, excellent capture - thanks for sharing!
I saw these guys in 1989 when they were on tour supporting The Great Radio Controversy album. I've seen a lot of live concerts and these guy were one of two of the most memorable live shows (Damn Yankees being the other). Frank and Tommy are definitely two guitar heroes who have gone under the radar.
I love how the band had zero idea of who the fuck Nikola Tesla was, what mechanical resonance is, or what the radio controversy was, and their original name “City Kidd” was changed by management because it’s just a shitty name. 😂 Posers? Maybe, but they could play, and the songs were great.
These guys are all great, hanging with them and the manager while on tour.. great memories for sure! Franks awesome! They are still playing big shows. A rarity for old rock bands!!
I just played this for my 20 something y/o son. He Didn't care for it until I pointed out that it goes through different eras. From the Wild West to the Cold War that was on when the song was written. Now it's cool.
I have loved this band since Mech Reso hit the shelves in 1986. I grabbed that album the very first week. One of the best lead singers of all time (Jeff), one of the best drummers of all time (Troy), and honestly, when you throw Frank, Brian, and Tommy in you have one of the most powerful rhythm sections in hard rock. All that said, it's really hard for me to watch Tesla without Troy. But I completely understand what he feels after decades on the road.
Yep I've still got several of their albums on vinyl also. Saw them live back on June 11th, 1988 when they opened for Def Leppard on the Hysteria tour at the CNE Grandstand in Toronto (I still have the ticket stub, that's how I remember!). Both great bands who I'm so happy to see still kicking ass live!
Damn! Look how old we all are! When the Hell did that happen?!! It's weird seeing how the crowd has aged right along with the band. But, at least we were around when rock music was big. I never ever imagined that Rock-n-Roll would die off. But it has.😥
Tommy and Frank were a formidable guitar duo on their first few albums. Great tone, killer riffs and great solos. They complimented each other very well. As an aside, I've played guitar for 40 years and this is the first time I ever saw a Floyd Rose floating tremolo on a Gibson SG.....nice
Seen several shows in Phoenix, one in Milwaukee 1992 and couple years ago In Atlanta. There on business, checking local scene,….shot relate is at the Buckhead Theater. $40 Uber I’m catching Tesla in Atlanta! Amazing show

One of the best shows I've ever seen was Tesla and Great White back before the club fire. That was 30 years ago. I have no idea how Jeff Keith's voice doesn't explode out of his throat. Its painful to hear, acually.
Tesla was the last show I saw live before the Great Shutdown. They ripped through a set here in Albuquerque. Have seen them many times and in many places. Hope to catch them live again somewhere down the road.
Seen a hell of a lot of concerts in my lifetime. And I have to agree with the other guys comment. Granted, last time I saw them was probably 20 years ago Nevertheless one of the best bands I've ever seen live. Superb !!!!
Love Tesla!! His voice is always pretty much sounded like that though… That’s his style. Imagine singing like that for over 30 years L O L! We saw them twice in a little club in San Diego called 4th and B. Kick ass shows both times! 🤪 Tommy was there for one of them
Jeff's voice for certain is not what it used to be. That being said these 80's rock bands destroyed their voices in way un imaginable to even the most gifted singers. So kudos to you Jeff for keeping it together.. I have much respect.
Jeff sounds surprisingly good I thought his voice would be shot by now since it was always raspy but to me better than Vince Neil by a mile I never saw Tesla I will love to see them if they come to Tulsa
Saw them a few years ago, they were much better. Even a few years makes a big difference, it I'd very nearly over for all of us who listened to this as it was hsppening
I see Jeff gained a lot of weight since his younger days (L O L) His voice is still going. I am amazed. They are always so good in concert. I definitely have to try to get to see them again. I saw they and Jackyl. OMG what a great show that was. I miss the 80’s so much.
Wow.loved all Tesla's songs back in the day...I think the big reason for me is that driving ,balanced,attention to detail lead guitar with the red Gibson......that's a bad man....they are all good.i wish the lead singer had left his spandex back in the 80s this...lol
