Powerwall 3 is designed to operate in extreme environments-including under water. Watch Powerwall 3 operate a variety of high-energy appliances all at once while submerged in two feet of water. www.tesla.com/powerwall
With the one-phase emergency power implementation, Tesla is pursuing the worst case scenario, according to my thoughts on this topic. Because it is impossible to supply the entire house in the event of a blackout. What do you need in the event of a power outage? Chilled Easen, the possibility of cooking. The kitchen is then the most important room as it also has light. The primary task of the Powerwall was and never has been to achieve self-sufficiency. In my opinion, the concept of the Powerwall primarily includes maximizing your own consumption when you operate a solar system. The Powerwall's emergency power, on the other hand, is secondary and only there so that your food doesn't spoil and you can cook a few eggs and bacon in the pan and have some hot coffee.
In other words, Tesla did everything right; in the event of a blackout, it is enough if the kitchen has electricity, as I said. Netflix doesn't work in your bedroom, living room, etc. so you don't need electricity. Heating is also no problem, wood stoves backup. There are fireplaces that are integrated into the chimney. You are just way too spoiled and are confusing emergency power with self-sufficiency
The real feat of engineering, is the social engineering of traditional media by auto manufactures or oil companies, Idk which just speculation. Tesla catching fire is national news, while a combustion engine car catching fire doesn’t even make local news. Every-time a tesla is involved in an accident it seams to make national news…
I guess that one way of keeping the battery pack cool, might I recommend tilapia fish's as you could have cook fish for dinner if your battery pack every over heats.
Energy companies in the Netherlands are about to ask money from us to push energy back onto the net. Now is the time to start selling those things here.
My three Powewall 2s have been outside for 2 years now, and through a lot of rain, without issue. They have even been partially buried in snow, so I wouldn't think surviving water immersion to be a new trick. There are a lot of people who put their powerwalls in their basement. So water is a real concern for them. I wish this commercial would show those more realistic scenarios.
Do you see anything strange only in my eyes? Why they bring coffee from breville coffee grinder? That is really OK to you guys? I want to emphasize that I’m a huge fan of Tesla and I own model3. 😭
