@@mrtandemslidessbtt it’s true! I live in Illinois and we have those dot matrix gantry signs on the highways for traffic alerts and amber alerts and stuff, and IDOT have a record of putting cheeky traffic puns up on them. It’s too dumb to lie about, I swear!

Not having a home charger for your EV is a real nightmare. I live in an apartment and have to level 1 charge at home and it is shitty when compared with my old house where I had the maximum L2 charging capability.

All those engineers at tesla and not one of them came up with the idea of making the throttle pedal all one piece. Why add a pad onto it when you could just design it as one part?
They were probably told to buy an off the shelf unit from Bosch or Delphi and glue a stainless panel on it to match the trucks design language. and subsequently were told to use the cheapest glue they could find.

I have a Tesla Model Y Performance and really like it. I know petrol heads hate it, but it's fast as hell and has lots of space. It will drive me places and it doesn't use gas. The other products from Tesla I am not that in to. It's styling is controversial, and I wish their products didn't suck now since I want my stock to go up.

I dont think anyone ever talks about the fact that as a community, we are our own worst enemies. We could embrace EV's and have tracks right next to houses. All you'll ever hear is tires and birds chirping. But instead, we collectively are like "Lets 💩 on EV's and get all of our Hellcat buddies together and do another TAKEOVER!!!!" And then get all pissed when another racetrack goes bankrupt and closes.
I just am starting to get in to F1 and while it is annoying to not see some shake up for 1st place. I do think there is a lot of interesting driving 3-20 place. I didn't get to live through watching Michael Jordan play basketball, so I personally think it's cool to see Verstappen's dedication as well as natural talent.
Anyone think the the drop-off in EV sales has to do with the tech itself? I've always thought of the possibility to daily an EV, but as of right now I'd never get an EV until solid state batteries become the norm. Lithium batteries are horrible and on their way out, so I feel there's no point in getting an EV right now.
Next year every non-Tesla EV gets its charge port replaced with a Tesla port. Why would anyone who wanted to buy an EV (that's better than Tesla) do so this year, knowing that a year from now they'll get one which can crowd out all the Teslas at Supercharger stations?
Bourbon can only be made in Kentucky. Additionally, it needs to be aged in charred American White Oak barrels and the mash must be composed of mostly corn. I'm positive there are more rules, but I am fairly certain these are legal definitions now due to prohibition and bad hooch killing people. Edit: I may be wrong. The legal protections may have rolled back.
I detail cars and I charge extra to clean a tesla the inside material made of some b.s so everything holds on to it dame near impossible to make look new again. Two of my customers gave theres up.
Do y’all actually see a lot of Mach E’s and rivians and shit in CA? I’m in south FL and we see SOOOO many teslas, but I can count on my fingers how many rivians, fiskers, ioniqs, and polestars I’ve seen in the past 4 years on one hand.
@@kingarty cool man thanks for the input. I know a lot of these companies are based in CA, and with bigger cities an EV makes a better choice. I saw a few Mach e’s when they first dropped, but have been very scarce. Everyone rocks the Tesla SUV here for their families.
SoCal dude here. Mockstang-Es abound and I've seen enough Ioniq 6s to know I'm glad I didn't go for one when I was shopping for an EV sedan. Even seen a handful of BMW i4s aside from my own (chased one through Laurel Canyon the weekend I attended the Donut Cruise-In at the Petersen back in February)
On a real note, from day 1 I thought the Cyber Truck was stupid, a dumb ugly status symbol of an extremely impractical truck. Even if the Cyber Truck came with like a decent V8 Gas burning engine I would still think it's stupid and ugly and about as practical as a 2006 Honda Ridgeline.
I'm surprised Mr. Nolan isn't doing the work himself to his Mustang. Now me, I don't let other people work on my car. I don't pay other people to work on my cars. But I'm also super poor soooo ya. ( Metaphorically speaking) My wife has never been further South than Fresno. So, like a question on your application asks what kind of car would you buy, If you had $10000 ? Me, if I had $10000 or even a 1/4 of that I would come down to Los Angeles. As an Ex-Tesla employee we did a lot of reliability testing on the Cybertruck, New Zealand, Alaska, Baja, but many high mile accumulation tests. It was not just put out without testing but yes a very novel car will have unique issues.
7 or so years ago I said that companies jumped in too quickly with ev's and skipped over hybrids. Now look who was right, me, a random guy on the internet. Too bad they didn't call me first to get my opinion before ruining everything.
On the subject of EV's, this country is forcing us off petroleum use completely. My state wants everyone to switch to electric appliances, meaning no natural gas. All this will undoubtlbly make the cost of living even higher, especially those who can least afford this forced change. And where is all this newly needed electricity to come from? And when the power goes out, then what? This will be a cruel joke by the powers to be. Peace.
2 things...first, every time you mention the Mach E as car people you have to say: "the not-a-mustang Mach E" or some such phrase so that it is clear Ford done F#$^ed up in naming that thing. second...the S650 mustang, the grill...can we talk about that thing, its to big top to bottom to look good, and then Ford decides to put a big black blocky ugly surround bit around it making it look monstrously out of proportion and clunky...and it ruins the whole car. as evidenced by the GT3/GTD or the new Saleens, none of which have that black grill surround, and all of which look infinately better for it. Some company NEEDS to make a new bumper cover/grill thing for the Mustang that gets rid of that clunky, awkward, mess.
It's amazing how many people hate Teslas. I've owned over 60 cars so far, and my Model Y is the only car that has never been in the shop for anything. It's 3 years old with 65k on the odometer. I'm retired military and a Republican and love the auto glovebox for my Glock😊
Time to put on the big boy pants and actually learn a bit about F1 or stop commenting about it. It would seem the totality of your understanding of F1 is from Drive to survive. So much has been going on in F1 the last few weeks that goes right over your heads. But when you mentioned that the way to fix it is to give everyone the same equipment and have... A spec series??? BTW a lot of people disagree with your political leanings but dont call you a piece of shit. They are you know... Well adjusted I guess.
