"I was in a room filled with other people that had been abused as children and they were talking about how worthless they were and how much they didn't deserve anything. I was looking at all these women who were the most beautiful women, they had this beautiful light to them, telling me how worthless they were! I just thought "Oh my gosh these are the most beautiful and amazing women - and they have no idea!" Then the spirit spoke to me and said "That is how I feel about you." From them on, that is when I chose to love myself and chose to see myself as a daughter of God."

My dad stopped drinking and joined the church after fasting and praying and going through 7 sets of missionaries. What a delightfully changed man. It’s a process. 🌔🌓🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒

I’m reliving my past and the exact feelings I had when I stepped away from the Church. I felt unworthy and yet could not deny my testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I too hit rock bottom before I began to turn my life around. It’s been a journey and I still struggle with feelings of inadequacy. I had had a very personal issue that kept me feeling “ugly” inside and I couldn’t shake it. Fourteen years ago I pleaded with Heavenly Father to take away my desire and made promises with Him. My prayer was answered and I’ve kept my promises and that issue has no longer plagued me or tempted me. I know if we keep our promises God will keep His.

One thing that caught my attention was her guilt and unworthy feeling for many years. I came back 25 years ago, and until I I received direct revelation to do my dad's work in the temple. Then I knew I belonged, and God wanted me in His presence.

@@Come.Back.Podcast and I knew how the atonement worked, and I trusted it, especially when the examples were written in the scriptures. This included the woman at the well, the Laminites who became the people of Ammon, but yet I just could not see it for me. I just did all the Sacraments with faith only, but now I know.

Great interview. Abuse opens us to darkness. I've talked to others and read books of Near Death Experiences illustrating that there are evil and unclean spirits involved in addiction. Sometimes the Lord will bless with deliverance Himself. Sometimes He wants us to ask for a blessing or blessings for deliverance from evil and unclean spirits. They can be inside or just very close recommending and triggering thoughts and emotions.

I think a lot of us go off the rails….. eve people that aren’t members. How can you come back to yourself if you’ve never left. Maybe that’s part of the process. Do you think there’s a physical, spiritual, mental and emotional rock bottom🌸🌸🌸???

As far as the alphabet group, why do they need a full month? Then there was a case where a local scholol wanted a ALL the parents to have a pride flag in your you. A church member refused so someone planted one there so she removed it and put a proculation of family flag up. The school called the poluce who basically told her she had to display the pride flag. Dont get me wrong I dont hate the alphabet community and have friends that are. But why do I have to celebrate it for a full month?

LDS do not worship the Jesus of the Bible and therefore are not saved believers. They worship a created Jesus who they believe is the brother of Lucifer. This contradicts Scripture, and LDS know this-that they worship a different god. Read Unveiling Grace by Lynne Wilder, whose entire family left LDS and are now worshipers of the One true God, Jesus Christ. In the back of her book you will discover the difference-side by side-between the Mormon Jesus and the Jesus of the Bible.

I disagree with you.. There is only one Christ. Literal Son of our HeaveFather. We are all Spiritual brothers and Sisters. I read and love the Bible and strive to live as Christ would have me live.

When a believer says they are "saved" it really means they have just discovered they have a Heavenly Father who LOVES them! It's a BIG deal because they suddenly have a past life with Him. They not only have an eternal future, but also an eternal past. Members of The Church worship the actual Jesus in the New Testament Yeshua Messia. We look forward to The Return of THE KING of Kings. Come join us!

@@rconger384 Mormons don’t worship the Jesus of the Bible. Their doctrine contradicts scripture. Jesus is the eternal God. He is not the brother of Lucifer, and he was not created. I have been mentoring a Mormon, as she has transitioned out of LDS. I am extremely well-versed on the cult of Mormonism. The Mormon Jesus and the Jesus of the Bible are not the same. And the Book of Mormon is not true, nor was Joseph Smith a prophet. Progressive revelation, as Mormons believe, is antithetical to the character of God, who never changes. You will call me “Anti” and you have been indoctrinated to believe that if Mormonism isn’t true, then nothing is true. I hope the one true God gets a grip on your heart and you get to know him.

I hope someday that you can find the true church, you must believe in continuing revelation and that God loves all of his children in all ages so would never leave them without prophets to lead and guide them Just as he did in biblical times . You do not need to listen to anyone else tell you what to believe about Jesus, you can know for yourself the truth of all things simply by exercising faith in the lord Jesus Christ and asking God in his name, I pray for you that you one day will find the Truth for yourself and come unto Jesus Christ.
@kenton6804
@kenton6804 Год назад
@@dawnricherson2604 We don't believe Jesus was created either, nor do we believe in progressive revelation. We believe in continuing revelation, whereas most Christians believe that the Bible is all of God's word, and that He is done speaking, which is entirely in the camp of God changing. Nor do we claim that we have a monopoly on truth! Joseph Smith and Gordon B. Hinkley both said quite the opposite, that truth is found in many places. That said, if Lucifer fell from heaven, what did that make him before he fell? Are not the angels of God? And If we, being the clay before the potter, are able to be joint heirs with Christ, what does that make us? The idea is not that satan was the brother of Jesus. If that is true, there are still at least a few billion things that are more important than that. One of the biggest of those ideas is that God knew us before we were born.
