Stuck at home during COVID-19 virus. You are a very relaxing rider. I like your slow down & enjoy the ride style. The scenery is beautiful and bike sounds awesome. Wish my 1700 sounded like this.
How would you compare the vn1700 with the 900? I had a 900..high rpm and just a little short of power for me but very smooth and fun to ride..so far I haven't tried a vn1700 yet
Vulcan rider myself. Can hear that you dont have the original exhaust on - nice sound! Would like to know if you during the video at any time hit the 6th gear?
Coole Sache...jemand aus meiner Heimat...und auch jemand mit ner VN...und auch jemand mit nem modf. Auspuff von Sound--Control . :-)Mit welcher Öffnung hast du das Video gedreht.?Das würde mich mal interessieren.Mein Auspuff müsste demnächst wieder zurück sein, und bin auf den Sound gespannt wie ein Flitzebogen.FREU :)VG.Tommi.
walken408 Der Auspuff war voll geöffnet. Die Schalldämpfer sind aber ganz unterschiedlich. Bei meiner VN900 konnte ich ihn nur minimal öffnen, sonst war er brutal laut. Inzwischen habe aber ich aber eine Miller Auspuffanlage dran und die SCS-Töpfe verkauft.
R100RMystic Eine Miller wäre auch ganz Oben auf meiner Liste gewesen, neben einer Vance&Hines welche für mich den besten Sound rüber bringt. Habe mich dann aber wegen den durchgehend positiven Rezessionen bei Sound-Control Systems spontan für die günstigere Variante entschieden.Somit bleibt noch Sprit für nen Hypercharge übrig.

I dont think that You will regret it. It´s the best bike I ever had. I also have a BMW R850R for driving a little bit faster. But for cruising the VN1700 is top! :-)
