Always thought the SS had black dash trim with the red trim. Kinda looks like a standard Monte, with the SS bumpers and graphics. Sounds great though. Seems to run well.

1983 was first ss introduced. It had split bench seats. Interior was two tone white leather and blue cloth interior, with shifter on the column. 1984 looked exactly like it, except floor shifter and different style steering wheel. This one's interior isn't factory.

@@roderickwaresr.4714 the 84 Monte Carlo SS went to all blue interior later on. In the year. Those seats are original. I had a 83 SS that had the Blue/white interior. My brother had the 84 Ss with that exact interior as shown here.

@@towcars5550 It just makes the car. I had a 98z28 6speed in the early 2000s and that engine was amazing. 20 years of parts and advances...has to be even better. I need slow cars because of that 98. Wife didn't like running from the cops. I blame Dukes of Hazzard

Uncle Sandy;s got to stay with a Gen I SBC here . Maybe get crazy with a 353cu-in. wich is a 400 small block and 327 Crank. Now that I think about it, that's more of a 6500 RPM 'Vette motor. Plain Jane 350 built right 300HP all you need. Anything more you start breaking all kinds of stuff. - Sandy
